In case you havent read, due to the changes in the NFL year, we gained $3 mil in cap space from the Synder release.
Yes the downside is that the $3 mil is pushed into 2014, however we have now got $10 mil to spend.
We have a few rookies to sign, so lets call it $5 mil.
What do you do? |

Absolutely nothing.
Roll it over into next season and then start again.
Literally the only move that would be even worth looking at would be bringing Kerry Rhodes back, but I am pretty sure there are going to be issues that that will stop it from happening.

I agree with this message. Bring back Rhodes and save the rest. Maybe extend peterson

Personally I would redo a few deals and move money from 2014 back to 2013 to use the cap
Simple accounting
Then I would reassess Roberts deal and see if he was interested in signing mid term deal (3-4 years) for reasonable money.
PP would be next, assess what he wants in Nov/Dec depending on how he is playing and aim to have it done before league year starts in March. |

We can't, we cannot change anything in his contract until the end of his third year in the league. We cannot put any more money for Patrick Peterson into this year.

| I just don't get this - I agree the best thing to do with the 3-mil is to front load something to give us more money next year - but why didn't we just do that with Snyder's contract by eating the entire 4 million this year? |
