I know it is early for this game but some interesting news that could help our defense. Didnt want to create a thread for just this though.
Per Schefter
"Texans LT Duane Brown has been suspended without pay for four games for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances. "
They already have given up 7 sacks and 12 or more hits with him in the lineup. |

Aww man for real??? Jeeze. Redskins could have used that news a week early. I'm stealing this quote for a topic in the skins forum bud. Yikes. Good news for Da Raiderz tho. _________________

Not at all. Just information regarding a future game. Figured this thread could be used next week rather than having two different threads. |

5th year in a row, actually.
I always thought it was weird playing Houston every year. _________________

Just a bit. I'm hoping more for good news regarding us against them. More worried about them at the moment. _________________

We better worry about Arizona first this is there home opener so they will be pumped and the last time we were on the road we looked like garbage, but Ill feel better if Grad is getting the start. _________________

i think we keep playing the Texans because we finish in the same spot in the division every year and aren't your last two game (after 6 division games, one AFC division one NFC division) the teams that finished in the same place as you in the two AFC divisions you dont face per schedule rotation
i think thats why _________________

True, Gallary has to be healthy and Myers would need to help out for the majority of the time for us to have any chance of pass pro on that side. _________________

Hopefully our DE's can exploit this. Trevor Scott impressed me this past weekend with some of the pressure he was providing. I really like our rotation at DE with Shaughnessy, Scott and Houston.
Nnamdi going against AJ is going to be a great match up to watch. If they can manage to win this weekend against the Cardinals, that'd make the Texans game pretty big. This game should be a good test for this young team to see how they stack up against a very good Texans team. _________________
