VS
Location/Time
Sep. 26, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium
Players to watch
Timmons has been playing like a man on fire and if this continues he'll be mentioned with the other two ILB's of the 2007 draft. Timmons has another tall order this week going against the mobile Freeman and K2. The Steelers need Timmons to continue to wreck havoc if they plan on walking out of the R.J Stadium with another win.
Kellen Winslow Jr. has to keep the Steelers from pressing the LOS with a 8 man. He has to be able to beat man and zone coverages giving Freeman a good target going against the Steelers defense. If K2 can keep Troy busy and make the Steelers pay for bring him in the box. The Buc's could make the Steelers inept offense have to keep up. _________________

NICE
Will we really need Troy to take out K2 though? I think Timmons can keep him quiet, he's damn good in coverage...ala vs. Antonio Gates last year. _________________

Charlie Batch leads the offense on a pair of TD drives to really help out the defense. He threw well enough against a pretty stiff pass rush from the Titans to make me believe as long as he can stay healthy (please please please for the love of all that is holy) he can produce. No offense to Josh Freeman and company but if we can shut down the Falcons and Titans I'm sure we can shut down the Bucs' offense.
I'll take us winning 20-9.

LMAO at the team pictures.
I'm currently "kind of" looking for tickets to this game. Haven't had much luck yet. _________________

I thought about trying to make the trip to Tampa but plane tickets are REALLY expensive, game tickets aren't much cheaper if even available and I'm hard up for cash... not a good combination. |

Good luck to you guys, gona be a great game
Well not really lol. I see it as one of those all defense no offense games where the final score will be something like 9-3 _________________

Defense needs to play lights out again! If we rattle Freeman like we rattled VY, I see no reason why we can't score 20 for the first time in 2010! But I'll give Tampa the benefit of the doubt, they score 13. _________________

Good luck to you guys, alot of my family is big steelers fans, and being you have a former Bucs coach, I always root for you guys
It's a battle of former Bucs DB coaches, they are really good friends and it should be a fun matchup to watch.
I don't think we win this one, your d is just too insane. Here's to in injury free game! Good luck boys _________________

"We're going to proceed through the week and see how this thing sorts out," explained Tomlin. Charlie Batch is in the "pole position" because he's healthy entering the practice week, but Leftwich will lap him by Friday if his knee makes it through three practices. We're tentatively expecting Leftwich to start against the Bucs."

Just got mine on stub hub.....Can't wait to see that stud Batch live in action!!! In all seriousness, I think Batch gives us a solid chance of winnning and should do fine......
Hopefully Rashard can break a long one for my fantasy team!!!
Great GDT.......Best ever?

I couldn't figure out who was who in the pic. I know for sure that James Harrison is the Incredible hulk, Troy is Superman, Hines Ward Batman????, Lawrence Timmons is Spiderman. _________________

This game scares me as the perfect letdown scenario. I think the 9-3 score is pretty accurate perhaps holding off another late game drive. _________________

No matter what I want this to be a low scoring bruisefest with minimal injuries(if that's possible). This is the type of game that we've let slip by us in the past. Please Tomlin, over gameplan this one. Treat them like they have been ripping their opponents apart like nothing. I'm interested in seeing how our line handles that young and dangerous defensive line. _________________
