Gone Girl comes out this Friday, October 3rd. I have personally found the trailers to be very compelling and I'm planning on taking my girlfriend opening night. Looking online it has gotten some pretty solid reviews and I'm interested to see the character that NPH plays.

Director: David Fincher

Stars: Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Tyler Perry, Neil Patrick Harris

I are excite, and I recently discovered a movie theater not too far from me that has reclining sofa chairs as seats.

This will be good because it's David Fincher. That's pretty much standard.

Agreed. Fincher is 7 for 9 in feature films, and hasnt given us a subpar movie in 12 years. If anyone can get Tyler Perry to give a good performance, its Fincher.

Tyler Perry's actually not a terrible actor when he's dressed like a man and not directed by himself.

I heard they've changed the ending a bit. I hope so, because I despised the ending in the book.

All I know is that Batman wouldn't kill his wife.

And this movie will be good....Affleck and Fincher won't disappoint.

Read it in wikipedia. So I know what happens

Also, for some reason I heard Tyler Perry directs this movie, so I've been telling people this.
Damb, they probably think I'm stupid

Exactly this. He is one of the most consistent active directors. Making this a must see.

The one time I doubted Fincher was for The Social Network. The story seemed lame, the cast was a joke, and the trailer seemed a little dull. I even doubted the film after all the reviews said it was one of the best of the year. I had to see it to believe it, and I was eventually blown away. And I see a lot of that here. There are no exciting names in the cast...never much of a Affleck fan, and Tyler Perry? Are you kidding me?...but I expect to see one if the top 3-5 movies of the year.

Very good movie. I enjoyed it a lot. My mind is still trying to process what happened.
