Very nice write-up...
I still have to watch season 5...
I had all the discs via Netflix, but somehow... I missed 2 episodes of season 5.

I did see the final two episodes, but I feel like I missed a lot.

Damn shame what happened to Randy... Confused

Great show. The scene between Dukie and Michael at the end of season five is so darn tragic.

Yeah, that's one of the best scenes in the show. Alongside DeAngelo calling out Avon at the end of season 1, Bubbles' speech near the end of season 5, Avon and Stringer on the patio reminiscing, McNulty and Bodie having lunch, and McNulty calling out Templeton.

It really is one of the best shows ever created and, for MY money, THE best. It was an undertaking unlike any other and it's a shame that they didn't get to completely realize their vision. (by that I mean, they got through the whole story, but were forced to rush it in the last 2 seasons. They originally wanted the Mayoral run to take up an entire season, separate from the school/education stuff.)

The one on one talk with Omar and Bunk on that bench was prolly my favorite scene. Very powerful.

I'm so excited for this. Haven't seen an episode, but I'm gonna get to it this summer, probably sooner rather than later.

Best....show.......ever.

I thank the boys on here for talking it up so much. I, totally on faith, got the entire series for X-Mas and I killed it in 6 days.

Certainly the best show of it's genre ever.

Oh, I knew I'd forget some!!! There's so many great scenes and that certainly belongs on the list.

Bunk giving it to him about his upbringing was epic. Awesome performances from the both of them.

I watched every ep of the show each week on HBO from jump. Best show ever. By a landslide.

I just copped the 3rd season boxed set. Just finished the 1st ep. Watchin it again all over you learn so much more. My boy Bodie... damn. Such a shame knowing what's to come. Stand tall soldier.

I recently finished watching this and I have to say it is BY FAR the best show I have ever seen. Each character is equal in the show and you never know whats coming next, Its truly a master piece.

Yup, yup, yup.

Memorable scenes

- McNulty and Briana at the police station

- Omar in the courtroom owning Levy's arse to the max

- Daniels meeting Clay Davis in Burrell's office for the 1st time

Daniels is the best char in the show, IMO.

where are you getting it from? my suggestion is ebay. I got all 5 seasons, for 100 bucks. I've been in movie stores where the 1st and last season alone are 50 bucks a piece.
