Yeah I read it in college. It was basically a list of principles with descriptions below each. It didn't really flow like a normal book, but it had a lot of great information that can apply to different areas of life including business.
I'm finishing How To Win Friends and Influence People right now. Lots of great stuff in there. |
Thanks for the feedback, definately sounds like a good book to read ATM |
I also read it and Chimpo described it well. _________________

I finally finished my 7th reading of the Aubrey/Maturing series, all 20 books. I always get a little sad in the last chapter knowing this is it and there was more story to tell.
Also read Sense and Sensibility for the first time. Elinor Dashwood is one of my favorite literary characters. _________________

Still working my way through Under the Dome, Stephen King, who is one of my favorite authors, does a really good job creating a despicable villain in the story and he's created a ton of back story on the bad guy as well which makes him even more easy to hate. I am kind of sad because I don't think CBS is going to be able to do it justice and show off the really terrible nature of the villains on broadcast TV. Unless they stray a long ways from the source material, ala Bourne movies, keep the name and some of the premise but don't get into the same level of dirty and mystery. _________________ Gnat's Movie Reviews

Started Steig Larsson's Millennium Trilogy a little over a week ago. Just finished the final book.
Wow. My new favorite series ever. Lisbeth Salander is my favorite person in a book. These books were amazing.
I'm now depressed because I didn't want the books to end.
So I looked up his Wiki page to see if more are coming.
Damn why did you have to die Mr Larsson I want more books from you. _________________

I just started the first one.
The beginning was a little dry with all of the names and places to remember..lol
I am up to where Blomkvist and Salander meet. I will get a chnnce to read it in the morning, probably finish the first one tomorrow...I am excited about it.. It's a can't put down book.
I have the other two setting in my office, can't wait... _________________

I know what you mean. It's disappointing. I would love for the Thrawn trilogy to be made into a movie. _________________
