it was reported on the cowboys forum, apparently after being mentioned on the nfl network.
it'd be great for us, but makes so little sense for the cowboys that i don't hold out much hope of it happening.
tuna wants to win now, then retire. he isn't building for the future. an impact 1st (and 2nd) rounder might help that happen, shaubby won't. but then again, jerry jones is as unpredictable as they come, so you never know... maybe there are injury issues with bledsoe that we don't know about. just one possibility.
please let it happen! _________________

They would want Schaub because he is accurate & has good mobility. Those are key ingredients for a successful QB. Bledsoe is past his prime and can't do anything when those old WR's get covered, and Bill knows a good QB is the difference between 6-10 and 10-6. _________________

| I'm thinking that guy must be on drugs. I haven't seen as much as a whisper about a deal with the Cowboys anywhere else. Not even on NFL Net. |

True.
But a first AND a second rounder?? If that's true, then Jerry Jones is the one on drugs....and we should absolutely take advantage of that situation! |

While I doubt we would get a first & 2nd for Schaub, there is little doubt that we are going to move him and it isn't going to be cheap for the team who wants him. A mid round 1st would be a bare minimum probably, with the likely scenario being a !st & a 3rd or a 1st & a veteran starter for our D. _________________

someone made a very good point in another thread, this is a very deep draft, probably the best in twenty years. This years draft picks are very valuable, much more valuable then last years or next years. So a losing a first round pick would be a huge thorn in the side of a team that needs to rebuild. _________________

Yeah but notice in this ultra deep dratf that the 3 QB's are slated to go 2,3, & 4 overall. _________________

Some scouts are saying with a new coach in for the Jets, they may take a Qb as insurance for Pennington much like KC did for Priest Holmes. _________________
