| out of all the possibilities, who is the most realistic free agent aquisition we should try and pick up? my two cents is fred smoot. |

1. Fred Smoot (an elite CB)
2. Ken Lucas (Seahawks can't afford to keep him IMO)
3. Rudi Johnson (franchise Burress and swap players)
4. Julian Peterson (if he gets rid of the Postons as agents)
5. Kevin Johnson (for depth at WR)
6. Anthony Becht (a pass catching TE)
I don't think the Steelers will be very active in FA. However Colbert does like to use FA to pick up high caliber starters (like Farrior, Staley, Hartings and nearly Marcus Washington). I see only one big name FA joining the Steelers because they will concentrate on keeping the players already in the organization under contract instead. |
