Dont die out here boys! We've had some of the best activity we've had and we should see the spike in the coming months. |
Gonna be a big dip..once the team goes into its seemingly customary late season crapiness, forum activity decreases heavily. No more 4 page GDT's on Tuesday.
Well, it was fun while it lasted. |
maybe next year...at least we got a good core of guys that actually know what they are talking about....
So two finals left then im a FREEman lol _________________

I have one more tomorrow, international business. I hate this prof with such a passion it's incredible. Basically, she marks the essay portion of the exam in relation to the others. So best essay gets 100%, second best 95%...etc. That could be good, but if you write what is actually a pretty good essay but other people go above and beyond, you get 40% and under. HOW DOES THIS MAKE SENSE??? _________________

What the hell? Damn, that's awful.
Grading essays are so damn subjective. Grading it like this only makes it worse.
Good luck. _________________

Yeah, for the midterm, there was a multiple choice section and 2 short essays. For the multiple choice I got 29/30, so obviously I know the stuff. On the first essay I got 4/15, and the second one I got 6/15. I asked her why the low marks, since there was no explanation or anything, just a number. She said because other students had better essays. WTF
Apparently about half our class appealed the exam to the university, so clearly I wasn't the only one. _________________

Yeah hernia's are a pain, i've dealt with mine for about 4 years. I still lift weight and do all that, just go through spurts of pain. Luckily mine is an abdominal hernia. _________________
