This might be the 3rd time that I have seen ULL this season and I have to say that I'm really impressed with them. They have some talent on defense. Melvin White is a stud - might be my new man crush. Great size and instincts. |
Went to the game today. While the ending was great, the Gators looked awful today. And Driskell being out isn't a good sign, hopefully that ankle's ok. I say sit him next week anyway and make sure he's as close to 100% as he can be against FSU. |
Yeah, they really did look bad - especially on offense. Mike Gillislee is pretty much the only consistent weapon on that side of the ball and even he struggled yesterday. | It all starts in the trenches. Our O-Line is straight up garbage. I still don't know how we pushed around LSU. _________________

Haven't watched any Claiborne games beside the 1st Giant game and this one. Dude has been dreadful in both. _________________

He's been good and bad. He's looked like a rookie but he's shown flashes of becoming a very good cb in this league. He's only going to get better |

That was pathetic. So was that RZ interception by McCarron.
Manziel was great. |
Johnny football is ridiculous. Only a freshman too.
On a draft note : Dee Milliner is overrated. I've been watching more bama games and since the Michigan game he really doesn't look the part of a top cb prospect.
You'll also be happy to know as the more I watch Xavier Rhodes the more I'm seeing him as the top cb prospect. | I didn't think he was the #1 CB either. Rhodes and Banks for me over him. Another person that has looked bad was Robert Lester. |
I wouldn't put Banks over Milliner, but Rhodes, yeah. My top-5 right now:
1. Xavier Rhodes, Florida State
2. Bradley Roby, Ohio State
3. Dee Milliner, Alabama
4. Jordan Poyer, Oregon State
5. Johnthan Banks, Mississippi State _________________

This has been a tough week for starting QBs: Alex Smith, Michael Vick and Jay Cutler all had to leave their games with concussions. _________________

| I think Tank Carradine will be a first round pick, reminds me a lot of Clayborn in college. I like his game a lot. |

Very similar style. Clayborn is more explosive off of the snap, but otherwise it's pretty damn close. Both are violent rushers that combo off of their bull rush nicely. _________________

That pick in OT made me lose my fantasy match-up in one of my money leagues _________________

I thought the plan was to acquire Cassel from the Pats and then trade him to the Broncos (head coach was Josh McDaniel) for Cutler. In the end, I believe Freeman will have the better career then Cutler. |

Tough times ahead for me.
The ladyfriend is dragging me along to see the Twilight movie. I owe her since she went skate shopping with me for 4+ hours and actually was into it. Damn it. _________________

Damn... stay strong and keep positive, my friend. You're in for a rough day.

Yeah, we were supposed to get Cutler... imagine how different this team would look right now. Probably not for the better, either. _________________

Draaaaaaaaag.
Are you gonna get into it? Hopefully there's some eye candy in the movie. That should help keep you from gouging your eyes out. _________________

At the time I think many of us wanted cutler. He was coming off a pretty nice year. But gladly we didn't do that trade.
Also Doug Williams to this day still says Dominik and staff wanted to trade up for Mark Sanchez and made the effort. Gladly they failed in that effort. |
