I think SC is a 8 win team this year...sadly. That defense is just so bad. It'll improve as the year goes on but it just completely lacks veteran talent.

And I don't think Thompson is good enough to carry the team. Nor do I think the offense as a whole can do it.

I agree with most of this, unfortunately. I'll hold out a bit of hope that it turns out that Hill is just that freaking good, not that our defense is that bad, but it looked pretty rough. Too many freshmen in the secondary, too little pass rush without blitzing. Really actually liking the look of our WRs though. And it'll be better in the run game with Davis back. I'd say though, my hopes for the season dropped from SEC championship, to hoping we can keep the streak against Clemson and win another bowl game against some mediocre Big 10 team.

Not buying it. Probably failed another drug test.

Wouldn't surprise me. I see him and Skai Moore hanging out in the Woodlands all the time....

Sorry it had to be you guys, but Kentucky is a legit ball club. They might get 9/10 wins on the season.

Not really man.

Our defense couldn't stop the same direct snap up the middle run the whole game. They had to run the same play at least 15 times. My grandma knew where the play was going. Our defense is pathetic. And when the game is TIED and we have three timeouts with 2:36 left in the game, we decide to throw the ball. After we've been running all over them throughout the game.

If I see Thompson point to the sky again I'm gonna find him on campus and [inappropriate/removed] him out.

Good game guys.

I'll say, I thought for sure you guys had the win with 3 minutes to go and a tie game. I've no earthly idea why they threw twice.

But good luck rest of the season. I hope you win out.

I don't even know how to react because I was watching that game knowing that was going to happen at the end.

I truly think the D is coached as bad as anyone in the country.

Gonna be brutally honest. I've been a fan of a lot of really horrible teams over the years. Between the Chiefs, the Royals, and some of the dark years in the 2000s for the Huskers (before I went to USC in 2010), and I've never given up. Never really reached the point of apathy or disinterest or whatever. But this team, this year? Just can't do it. First time since 2001 I haven't watched a game live for one of my main football teams, and I only missed that one because I was unconscious. But didn't watch todays. Didn't even know what time it was on. Came home, checked, and was pretty unsurprised to see another Spurrier press conference trending online and another astoundingly poor loss. I just have no energy or optimism for this team right now. Half the time feels like I'm really just watching/rooting for Pharoh Cooper. Otherwise, just meh, right now. I'm an optimistic semi-homer who just has no hope for this team right now. Just ready for the season to end.

End crappy fan rant.

I've never been a huge Lorenzo Ward fan but this defense just doesn't have the talent. Beyond Skai Moore, who was injured today, who do we have? A bunch of true freshman and JAG upperclassmen.

The one thing that makes me so angry with this defense is that they have such poor tackling technique. That's where I agree that we are terribly coached.

Yea, I am totally apathetic towards this team. Can't even get made at the choking because you know it's coming. This defense couldn't stop a toddler from running all over it and Dylan Thompson cannot handle high pressure situations.

Dylan Thompson has no idea how to play QB.

THROW THE BALL AWAY!
