NFC EAST DIVISIONAL THREAD:

This is the best division in football. The history, the constant competitiveness, the closeness each year, each game, each play is amazing. We are really luck for ours rivals and the game they bring every year, despite how much we hate them . They just make it exciting. Every year there are so many great stories going in to every new season. Really a ton to talk about. I gave a decent lay out of kinda what gone down between the four teams this off season. Lets talk some NFC EAST FOOTBALL. Lets talk our rivals, lets talk about strength and weaknesses vs our tough rivals. Enjoy boys!
Example of Type of Topics to Discuss:
Are the Cowboys running away with the division?
How will Washington fare with experienced and excited new McNabb?
Who are the youngster , the sophmores, juniors guys just ready to break out in the division? (Felix Jones, Mike Jenkins, Ramases Barden, Mario Manningham, Devin Thomas, Malcom Kelly)
Best QB in the division ? Kinda hard to argue against Romo right now.
Mike Shanahan buy or sell big time change in Washington?
Who will win on the trenches? every team seems to be loading up for a dog fight?
Austin? DeSean? Smith? Whos the best?
In general discuss whatever you feel like, just try and not destroy any guest posters from our rivals forums lol!

NFC EAST 2009 Standings:
1st place: Dallas Cowboys-W11-L5...win%.688
2nd place: Philadelphia Eagles-W11-L5...win%.688
3rd place: New York Giants-W8-L8...win%.500
4th place: Washington Redskins-W4-L12...win%.250
" Told ya'all so!"
Cowboys clinched the division, Romo looked great, Jerry looked smart. Cowboys took the NFC EAST and ran away with it. A banged up Eli just couldnt find the same magic he had a year ago but he cant be counted out, he was able to pull a victory over the Cowboys like McNabb just couldnt seem to do. Redskins had a disaster of a head coach and never found a game plan that fit. New coach in big Mike, new star QB with experience in the division, Skins are placing far 2009 behind them. Eagles never could find a groove or any chemistry on both sides of the ball, super hot, super cold, question marks of leadership, a lot of talent no direction in 2009. We must always note that crazy freak injuries that happenin this division every year... any team could get lucky in 2010 like every year could scrape by with less injuries and take the division. LOL a majority of this division players are on there death bed by week 10.
Always a tough in your face division, hats of the Boys for taking it.
NFC EAST 2009 MVP's:
Miles Austin/WR/DAL:
]Who could tackle this guy one on one? Didnt see many who could. Talk about a player giving his everything. Miles Austin proved to be quite the football player in 2009, savvy, strong, tough, with some nice burst for his size. Became Romos boy and for good reason. I think we were all surprised how good this guy is.
Tony Romo/QB/DAL:
4,483, 26 TD's 9 INT. Romo gets it done. Dude took on a year where he was the question mark and made good things happen , flat out drives a powerful offense. He has talent around him yes, but he gets the ball there with snaky like quickness and great awareness. best QB in the division, coming off great season.
Steve Smith/WR/NYG:
Deadly chain mover. Steve Smith has been the man in the New York. Always makes the best of what given in front of him. Shown to be a precision route runner with great hands. 107 catches not bad not bad.
DeSean Jackson/WR/PHI:
How freaking cool is this guy? Proving to be one of the most dangerous players in the game any time he gets near the ball. Special teams star, big play weapon at wide receiver,
Other very honorable players of 2009:
-Anthony Spencer/LB/DAL
-Brent Celek/TE/PHI
-Chris Snee/G/NYG
-Eli Manning/QB/NYG
-Donovan McNabb/QB/PHI
-Brian Orakpo/LB/WAS
-London Fletcher/LB/WAS
-Trent Cole/DE/PHI
-Demarcus Ware/LB/DAL
-Kevin Boss/TE/NYG

NFC EAST Notable New Faces:
Mike Shanahan/HC/WAS:
Big name head coach with rings, has been high on every ones hiring list. Great track records. Washington landed them self's a big fish.
Donovan McNabb/QB/WAS:
The Big gun from Philly comes south DC. McNabb is the QB the Skins franchises has been dying for. Comes in fresh, smiling, excited and for once in his career he goes into a season as the clear starter with out a hundred trade rumors surrounding him.
Antrel Rolle/S/NYG:
Premier safety in the league jumps shift from the NFC West to the NCF East, giving a once hurting secondary a legit presence taking away the big play. He can really shine in that defense specially if that once great pass rush can find some new life
Ernie Sims/LB/PHI:
Once one of the top prospects to come out, the very fast and agile Ernie Sims landed in Detroit which is just a black hole of mess. Hasnt lived to his potential, but come on its Detroit. He fits the defenses WILL position perfectly. Will be headache for offenses.
Darryl Tapp/DE/PHI:
The former Virginia Tech star leaves the Pacific Northwest where he was misused to come to the NFC EAST to play big boy aggressive football. Young excited and hungry with all the tools.

NFC East 2010 Draft Class
In a division thats so dog eat dog, every draft pick is so crucial. We have now seen free agent nuts rivals like Dallas and Washington begin scoring top talent in the draft. Which is great for the division, a lot of young talent scattered between the four teams and it seems each team year in and year out lands a unknown gem some where on there roster. Always a very intriguing division to follow in the draft. To say who has gotten the upper hand in the draft over the last couple years is really any ones guess. Another note its interesting to see the relationship between Dallas and Philly as they seem more then comfortable trading with each other on draft day. Also note how much each team mirrors closely the other teams draft picks , always looking for a answer to one another.
NFC EAST Rookies To Know
Trent Williams/OT/(WAS):
The very athletically gifted and versatile Williams will come in for the Redskins and be the corner stone of that line and franchise for the next decade. He fits the mold of a Michael Edward Shanahan offensive lineman. perfect lineman for a zone blocking system.
Perry Paul/LB/(WAS):
Very rugged stout build linebacker, strong at the point of the attacks , fits the kinda guy a London Fletcher would love to groom. Legit pick, may be a steal in there system.
Jason Pierre-Paul/DE/(NYG):
This guy is a mound of fast twitch muscle fiber. Came on like a hell storm out of nowhere this past season, jumped up every ones big board. Jason Pierre-Paul is raw and has his question marks but with little to no ceiling and freakish genetics he could be force in time.
Chad Jones/S/(NYG):
Hes what the division is seeming to demand, the Cowboys and the Redskins load up with big fast receivers.. The Giants go and get one big fast safety with a lot of potential. Raw but another freak who can cover a lot of ground and bring the bang at the LOS
Dez Bryant/WR/(DAL):
Dallas gets a top 5 talent in the 20's. This kid plays to kill, shines in big moments, attacks the ball. More then likely to produce points game 1 and so on.
Sean Lee/LB/(DAL):
Talk about a high football IQ with a great natural instinct for the game. Sean Lee was born a linebacker, hes not Patrick Willis but hes kid with his fair share of tallent who will play every down with his best effort for you every game, every week, every year.
Nate Allen/S/(PHI):
Prototype safety build, good height but not to cut, solid and even muscular build. Allen is a smart safety who relies on solid technique and precision reads, big eyes , with agile hips, strong burst, strong active hands to disrupt any throws.
Brandon Graham(PHI):
Fierce and intense are two common words most scouts use when describing Graham. High motor player with the speed, strength and technique to make a impact day 1.

I appreciate all the work you put into this thread . . . but I want to copy-edit it so badly . . . I'll start with this:
