Why is there a subsilver skin for the board?
and why does it have more options at the top of the screen such as member list (which doesn't seem to work) and user groups where it seems like you can join the global mod group which i decided against doing for fear of Webby's wrath _________________

The SubSilver skin is just the default skin for the board. Since it came with the forums, it has all the options at the top however, since Webby disabled them they don't work when you click on them. That is why Webby made the custom skin which just has the important and usable links at the top. And it is also impossibly to join the Global Moderator group like that, you can just view the members who are in it. Hope that helped you out.
Hopefully I didn't just confuse you more. _________________ clowney.

For some reason, in any thread that has more than one page and isn't stickied, the original post does not show up 'originally'.
For example, in jonyankee1nyj's All Millennium Team post in the NFL General forum, the first post on page one is this:
| jonyankee1nyj wrote: | The center position obviously as you can pretty much get the feel of was the hardest to distinguish 2 winners, basically for me it came down to Mawae verses Saturday and maybe a little Jets bias got in the way (especially since Saturday is the better center now). I do get the feeling a lot of the times when I see the Colts play that the offensive line in general is made for success and Saturday gets a little boost from that during games as well as having one of the most efficient/intelligent quarterbacks behind you also help cause all Saturday needs to do is process all his checks/reads and Manning gets rid of the ball so quickly/ great footwork to avoid pressure despite being slow. Obviously those aren't the reasons why Saturday isn't over those two, but those are two things that do put me off just a smidgen.
I have no problem with people disagreeing with me on that position, other then that, you'll find it hard pressed for me to be re thinking anything else. |
Is there some setting that I accidentally switched? I'm just curious as to what's happening. I tried closing out and restarting already, to no avail. |
At the bottom of the forum, there is red bar that horizontally goes through the forum, on that bar it says:
| Code: | | Display posts from previous _______/_______ |GO| |
Makes sure the first blank says "ALL POSTS" and the second blank says "OLDEST FIRST".
Hope that helps. |
Nah, it was about the same thing a couple of threads were started about in this forum. Webby said that he was just testing things. _________________

That would be RashaanSalaami. Here is the same article done by him in the NFL General forum that he started back in May. _________________

Is there any way to report a poster beside pm'ing a moderator?
I've been on some forums where along with the profile and pm buttons under a person's post there is a 'report post' button, and was wondering if there was one on this forum.
There isn't any specific instance I need to use it for, but was just curious. |

Your best course of action is to copy the url of the thread and then PM it to the mod(s) of the forum. You can see if they're online by going to the index page and see "who's online" at the bottom of the page (regular members are red, moderators are blue), look specifically for the mod(s) of the forum in question first then; if not available, look for a global mod

I removed it for now and will add the search back later (in a way that won't effect the forum width). |
It stretched out the forum page. _________________ clowney.

How do I post an image? I read the FAQ, but I didn't get it. I understand that you have to use the "Img" feature, but every time I preview my posts, they just end up like this:

What am I doing wrong? I feel dumb. |

If you use firefox, then just copy image location, and use that for the link.
If you use anything else, then you have to go to properties to find the image location. _________________

How do I quote properly? I can do them like this:
| Quote: | If you use firefox, then just copy image location, and use that for the link.
If you use anything else, then you have to go to properties to find the image location. |
But when I try to make it say "chauboy wrote," it always ends up like this:
[chauboy wrote:]If you use firefox, then just copy image location, and use that for the link.
If you use anything else, then you have to go to properties to find the image location.
I know these are obvious questions. I'm a tad computer illiterate. Thanks. |
