1st off Bertuzzi should never have gotten a penalty. Second Burrows should have gotten one for tripping 10 seconds before the goal.

Oh and Kipper sucks.

I've been impressed by the Canucks so far. With Luongo, all you guys have to do is make the playoffs, and anything could happen.

About the division though, I really think any of Minnesota, Edmonton, Vancouver and Calgary could win, and if Colorado could get decent goaltender play, I'd add them to the mix as well.

Oh and Kipper sucks.

Those were 2 of many bad calls. For the first 2 games and preseason it seems like the refs have been the worst I've ever seen.

I think the Canucks fans would just be happy to make the playoffs after last year. Sad

Canucks are getting the crap kicked out of them today by the Caps.

5-1

Edler with the only goal.

SO I am considering getting into hockey this year and the Canucks are standing out as one of the teams I may consider rooting for... Dont know why but they are... I live in the Bay Area so there are tons of Sharks fans out here and I always here about the redwings... Is there a reason I should choose the Canucks?

Well I don't think people realize how popular the Canucks are around N. America. They have a huge fanbase that probably is only smaller than the Leafs and Rangers. However if it's going to take a winning team to get you into hockey I would go another way. The Canucks will be a good team this year and make the playoffs but they don't have a cup coming anytime soon IMO. If you want a team that likely won't ever be at the bottom of the standings and will always spend whatever it takes to win though the Canucks are a good choice.

Hmm. OK I think I will do a bit more research... The easy way would be to just jump on the Sharks bandwagon... We will see how it goes...

If you're open to any team at the moment, I would go with the Blues. They are pretty offensive minded at the moment but not all there yet. They are just about to come out of a rebuilding stage and have elite young talent that is about to rise to the top. They are going to be an unbelievable team in a couple of seasons.

Besides, no one wants to be a Canucklehead. Not on purpuse that is. I mean just look at that uni. Ish! Laughing j/k

Well no crap buddy.

Iginla>>>>>>>>>>Hecht

Flames have the third biggest fan base I'd say. Most Leaf/Habs fans are Flames fans when it comes to the West, and in terms of the open provinces in the praries(Saskatchewan and Manitoba) they are both Flames provinces.

If your going to root for a team go for the Kings.

You are in that area(you can access a game- maybe even via Caltrain) easily, they have tons of young talent at the front and back and a great goalie in the system. Endure 2-3 years of losing/medioctrity before your team takes over.

How about Gaborik for Kessler and Mitchell? Sounds like a fair trade to me.
