McLaren reliability issues are all we can hope to win this for Alonso. _________________

Congratulations to Seb. This season, especially the last quarter, proved that he can indeed race with the best of them and doesn't just have the best car. Looking foward to next year with Hamilton driving a Werkswagen Now on to Broncos at Chiefs... _________________

I believe Pat Fry (The Ferrari TD) said that it was the yellow and red flags, (Slippery conditions) not yellows... _________________

Nope.
There was a yellow and red flag and yellow flag at turn 10, then going into turn 12 a green flag, then going up the hill, where he overtook Kob, multiple flashing yellow flags. _________________

Vettel deserves it, he took this Championship himself. I'm disappointed Alonso couldn't hold on to win but Vettel earned it. _________________

Hold on to what? The race or championship? Alonso hasn't been in the lead for a while now.
I saw that yellow light replay. Never saw the reds but could be wrong. _________________

Hard to argue with the video evidence. Looks like yellows. |
I don't know. It looked borderline, as they were just entering the yellow zone and Kobiyashi was pulling into the pits anyway. As much as I wanted Alonso to win, that would have been an unsatisfactory way to decide the championship.
Alonso for his part was much more unhappy with the way Vettel blocked him during qualifying in Japan and went unpunished. _________________

It would have been terrible if they had punished Vettel after the race, but its pretty clear Vettel passed under yellows the fact that Kob pitted probably saved him from a drive through. _________________
