ROUND 1
1. St. Louis Rams - Sam Bradford, QB Oklahoma
Obvious selection after his pro day.
2. Detroit Lions - Ndamukong Suh, DT Nebraska
This pick is between Suh and Okung and I cannot get myself to pass on Suh for Detroit.
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Gerald McCoy, DT Oklahoma
Best case scenario a DT slips to 3 and either one.
4. Washington Redskins - Russell Okung, LT Oklahoma State
The 100 Million dollar question. Clausen or Okung. Okung is rated higher.
5. Kansas City Chiefs - Eric Berry, S Tennessee
Berry or Dan Williams here. Went Berry as he is the better prospect.
6. Seattle Seahawks - Brian Bulaga, LT Iowa
Most pressing need and good fit in ZBS. Spiller and Derrick Morgan were entertained.
7. Cleveland Browns - Joe Haden, CB Florida
With Berry gone it was Clausen or Haden and they rate Haden higher I believe.
8. Oakland Raiders - Trent Williams, OT Oklahoma
BPA at OT. Campbell is at best a 2nd round pick to me.
9. Buffalo Bills - Jimmy Clausen, QB Notre Dame
With all 3 top OT's gone they would take Clausen.
10. Jacksonville Jaguars - Derrick Morgan, DE Georgia Tech
Earl Thomas and McClain get consideration but they must rebuild the pass rush.
11. Denver Broncos (via CHI) - Rolando McClain, ILB Alabama
BPA at interior OL and defensive front 7.
12. Miami Dolphins - Dan Williams, NT Tennessee
Could go a variety of directions but Williams offers starting potential at NT.
13. San Francisco 49ers - CJ Spiller, RB Clemson
I dont know that he lasts to #13 but he would be the pick if he does.
14. Seattle Seahawks (via DEN) - Earl Thomas, S Texas
Interesting choice here. DE and Dez Bryant would get consideration but Thomas is rated the highest and doesnt bring the baggage of Bryant.
15. New York Giants - Sean Weatherspoon, MLB Missouri
MLB is most pressing need and I really like Spoon for them.
16. Tennessee Titans - Kyle Wilson, CB Boise State
Awful pass defense last year. DE or CB here.
17. San Francisco 49ers (via CAR) - Sergio Kindle, DE/OLB Texas
Kindle would give them another pass rush option and really make this D a terror.
18. Pittsburgh Steelers - Maurkice Pouncey, C Florida
Either him or Iupati but I like Pouncey slightly more.
19. Atlanta Falcons - Brandon Graham, DE Michigan
With Weatherspoon of the board its Graham or suprisingly Dez Bryant?
20. Houston Texans - Kareem Jackson, CB Alabama
Surprise pick but is the BPA at CB or S and a guy that is really shooting up boards.
21. Cincinnati Bengals - Dez Bryant, WR Oklahoma State
Luck should have it they get the BPA at WR. Not sure this happens but its the way my mock went.
22. New England Patriots - Jared Odrick, DE Penn State
They reportedly love him and its a pressing need.
23. Green Bay Packers - Charles Brown, OT USC
Yes over Davis and others. Brown is the best ZBS OT available.
24. Philadelphia Eagles - Jason Pierre-Paul, DE South Florida
BPA and they love their trenches.
25. Baltimore Ravens - Everson Griffen, DE USC
Could provide versatility to the end and tackle spot in a 3-4 D.
26. Arizona Cardinals - Terrence Cody, NT Alabama
Not going to find a guy like this in round 2 to upgrade the nose spot.
27. Dallas Cowboys - Mike Iupati, G Idaho
Cant believe he fell here. I think he goes higher but the 'boys are stoked.
28. San Diego Chargers - Ryan Matthews, RB Fresno State
They wanted Cody and missed. Matthews is next best option.
29. New York Jets - Taylor Mays, S USC
Ryan sees his potential and takes the chance at this stage in the draft.
30. Minnesota Vikings - Devin McCourty, CB Rutgers
BPA at a need position and good special teamer.
31. Indianapolis Colts - Jerry Hughes, DE TCU
Just seems like the perfect DE for the Colts scheme.
32. New Orleans Saints - Tyson Alualu, DT California
Perfect 3 tech to play next to Ellis.
ROUND 2
33. St. Louis Rams - Jermaine Gresham, TE Oklahoma
Should he fall they would jump all over him.
34. Detroit Lions - Jahvid Best, RB California
He or Dunlap here, but they need another back badly.
35. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Carlos Dunlap, DE Florida
Retooling the Dline is critical and they get lucky he slides.
36. Kansas City Chiefs - Cam Thomas, NT North Carolina
Need pick and Thomas would be a good addition to the rotation.
37. Washington Redskins - Tim Tebow, QB Florida
Shanahan will give him a year to learn and loves mobile QB's.
38. Cleveland Browns - Colt McCoy, QB Texas
Good fit in the WC offense.
39. Oakland Raiders - Bruce Campbell, OT Maryland
Bingo. Trent Williams can play RT and Campbell wouldn't be passed on here.
40. San Diego Chargers (via SEA)- Brian Price, DT UCLA
Price can play the end spot in their 3-4 D.
41. Buffalo Bills - Anthony Davis, OT Rutgers
He slides and Buffalo takes the chance he works harder than projected.
42. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (via CHI)- Demaryius Thomas, WR Georgia Tech
He probably goes in round 1 but I think this is a better spot for him.
43. Miami Dolphins - Jason Worilds, DE/OLB Virginia Tech
BPA at the rush linebacker spot.
44. New England Patriots (via JAX) - Arrelious Benn, WR Illinois
Great selection should he be available.
45. Denver Broncos - John Jerry, G Mississippi
Starter immediately at G.
46. New York Giants - Lamar Houston, DT Texas
Would add to the Dline rotation right away.
47. New England Patriots (via TEN) - Ricky Sapp, DE/OLB Clemson
They have been linked to liking him and need a rush LB.
48. Carolina Panthers - Golden Tate, WR Notre Dame
Another Steve Smith clone but much needed.
49. San Francisco 49ers - Roger Saffold, OT Indiana
Could play RT or G.
50. Kansas City Chiefs (via ATL)- Koa Misi, DE/OLB Utah
Solid option in mid round 2 and a need. Good value here.
51. Houston Texans - Nate Allen, S South Florida
They need to bring in players with range in the secondary.
52. Pittsburgh Steelers - Patrick Robinson, CB Florida State
After missing out on Kyle Wilson round 2 presents good CB's.
53. New England Patriots - Aaron Hernandez, TE Florida
Great fit as a spread TE in their offense.
54. Cincinnati Bengals - Morgan Burnett, S Georgia Tech
Provides good range in center field and solid choice after passing on Mays in round 1.
55. Philadelphia Eagles - Daryl Washington, WLB TCU
Great WLB in their scheme.
56. Green Bay Packers - Thaddeus Gibson, DE/OLB Ohio State
BPA at DE/OLB and battles with Thompson for playing time.
57. Baltimore Ravens - Rob Gronkowski, TE Arizona
Gamble here that he is healthy but Heap has time left so they take the chance.
58. Arizona Cardinals - Dominique Franks, CB Oklahoma
Solid CB prospect in late round 2 area.
59. Dallas Cowboys - Alex Carrington, DE Arkansas State
Need pick and fills the depth at DE in their scheme.
60. Seattle Seahawks - Greg Hardy, DE Mississippi
Its a huge need and they take a chance on Hardy finally getting healthy.
61. New York Jets - Corey Wooten, DE Northwestern
Another need pick at 3-4 end.
62. Minnesota Vikings - Vladimir Ducasse, G UMass
Could play RG right away.
63. Indianapolis Colts - Amari Spievey, CB Iowa
Great scheme fit and offers depth for them.
64. New Orleans Saints - Navarro Bowman, OLB Penn State
Need pick and BPA at OLB even with the baggage. |

I like Iupati in the first, but I'd go with Chad Jones, Brandon Ghee or Kyle Calloway in the 2nd. _________________

There are still quite a few good options in round 3 at CB which is why I went Carrington there. Ghee was in the discussion. Maybe Brandon Ghee and Mike Neal if I changed it should Neal be available which I think he would be. Or a Javier Arenas, Walter Thurmond or Akwasi Owusu-Ansah in round 3 would all be solid options. Ghee would be gone by the time the Cowboys got back on the clock. |

Nice Cowboys mock, but if the Cowboys see Allen fall out of the mid-40's, I imagine they'll trade up and take him. They're going to need one in the first 2 rounds (IMO). _________________

Great job for Detroit. A lot of people would knock Jahvid Best at #34 (incluing myself about a month ago) but I would happily take this. _________________

Excellent first 2 rounds for the Bengals.
If Asamoah makes it to 84 that would be awesome. _________________ 2013 Draft Needs: RB, Safety. Maybe RT and backup LBs |
