Ok...I'm stealing MikeKid's idea here, because his got deleted. Vote on who you think the Redskins will take with their selection on draft day. When one player gets 10 votes, or 24 hours passes (whichever comes 1st), I will post a thread for the 10th overall pick in the Lions forum.

1. San Fransisco 49ers: Aaron Rodgers, QB, Cal--->[44%]

2. Miami Dolphins: Derrick Johnson, OLB, Texas--->[84%]

3. Cleveland Browns: Antrel Rolle, CB, Miami--->[44%]

4. Chicago Bears: Mike Williams, WR, ex-USC--->[86%]

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Cedric Benson, RB, Texas--->[53%]

6. Tennessee Titans: Braylon Edwards, WR, Michigan--->[33%]

7. Oakland Raiders: Ronnie Brown, RB, Auburn--->[53%]

8. Arizona Cardinals: Alex Smith, QB, Utah--->[50%]

NO TRADING DOWN!!!

The only one worth the 9th pick is maybe pac man, but to be honest if we cant get Mike Williams then we need to trade down, get more picks and try to add more young cheap talent. We are one to two years away from severe cap problems unless we start to reload the pipeline.

Okay, its a tight race here, with Cody, James, and Jones all tied at 4 votes a piece. If we could just get 1 more vote...

I have to go with Jones, especially if Smoot leaves. And even if he doesn't, Springs is not the same corner he used to be, and their D-Line seems serviceable and I don't think any of them are leaving.

I vote for Adam Jones CB West Virginia

I like Jones, but doesn't everyone think he's just another Fred Smoot, I mean look at him he's like 5'10 and 180 lbs at the most.

I know he's a good corner, but I wouldn't draft him over Rolle, and I don't think he should be a top 10 pick, maybe top 20 but no higher than that.

If we are planning on taking any of those players mentioned, with maybe the exception of Miller or Merriman we should trade down and get more draft picks.

Miller and Merriman are definelty worthy a top 15 pick, I'm not sure the other guys are.

I still believe either Williams or Edwards will be avialable with the #9 pick.

After the news we've received the last two weeks with the potential loss of Smoots, Coles & Gardner we need to trade down and acquire additional picks. Hopefullly we can trade our first for someone's 1st & 3rd plus trade Gardner for a 3rd (It's not going to happen, especially after Coles comes out we'd be lucky to get a 4th). We need to acquire a WR, CB, DE, WR & C in that order. We won't have the cash to go shopping.
