We will be playing the Dallas Cowboys in the annual Hall of Fame Game on August 8th, 2010.
This will be the first appearance by the Bengals during the Hall of Fame weekend since 1988.

The only significance of this is that we went to the Super Bowl the last time we played in this game. I know that holds no water what so ever but a man can hope. Besides, I've come to the realization that we won't return to the Super Bowl until San Fran does too. So we are waiting on the Niners to become good again. Hurry up San Fran!  |

It also means a Bengals preseason game will be on national tv for once. The last couple of years have sucked because i haven't been able to catch a quarter.
It'll be nice to see the rookies before the season comes.

Actually, both times the Bengals played in this game, they went on to division titles. The other time they broke up a string of Steeler titles in the 70's with an 11-3 record.

This will give us some extra game time practice, and allow us to get a better idea of what we have. I'm shocked we got this game!

Sweet! I don't have to sit at the sports bar and hope that the manager can find the game by going through a thousand channels on satellite for at least one pre-season game!
If anybody knows a link that has the game on the net it would be awesome. |
