Cam Cameron and Mark Sanchez make for some incredible GIF's in the future! _________________

So I'm doing this Madden franchise and I'm trying to give myself a challenge at the same time be realistic.
I am in year 2. I have franchised and it has killed my salary cap. He's being a pain in negotiations not taking below 13 mil a year. He is definitley not worth 13mil. He is 88 overall. What would be a realistic choice ?
A) Trade him
B) Let him go in freeagency (I think he'll go to the browns)
C) Sign him |

In order of realism:
1. Sign him
2. Release
3. Trade
The reverse is what is logical tho imo _________________

So is it me or is anyone else becoming less and less impressed with the Steelers as an organization? They've drafted pretty poorly since Tomlin took over and the Owner went off to be an ambassador. Rainey kicked off team. Took Mike Adams, a character problem. Ta'amu, character problems. Tons of cap space being eaten up by old players who aren't as productive as they used to be and no wiggle room. And it seems like they gradually get worse as Cowher's players get older and retire.
I'm not really worried about this division for a while. _________________

So the Browns hired Chudzinski as their HC and it looks like Turner is being brought in as the offensive coordinator. I'm a bit surprised that Chudzinski is bringing in a guy that will likely handle just about all of the offense but that's not a bad thing in my opinion (I'm not a huge fan of head coaches getting overly involved on one side of the ball, they should have different priorities).
I'm hoping Mike Zimmer gets a head coaching job somewhere. In my opinion he's the best defensive coordinator in the division and Cincinnati has some good tools to work with on that side of the ball. |

I think their situation is similar to ours -- because we both pick towards the end of the round year in and year out, in order to continue to put together a football team of highly talented players, you inevitably have to take some risks. We took risks on guys with some character issues in Kindle and Jimmy Smith, and they did it with Adams and some mid-round guys.
I do agree about the money situation, but it feels to me kind of like what we experienced with Ed/Ray for a while -- they're old and not worth it anymore, but they deserve to walk away at their own decision, not ours. Granted, several of these older guys in PIT aren't as accomplished, but I think it may fit under the same kind of bill. _________________

forgot to say thanks. I tagged him and later it came down to 11 mil. He's an MVP Candidate and we're 9-2. _________________

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. JJ Watt and the Texan defense scares me. |

I'd feel more confident against Houston. Our pass pro the last month has been awesome. I think Flacco would shred that secondary.
But I'm not scared of either and I want EPIC. Ravens-Patriots rematch would be epic. _________________
