Some of you know Michael McLaughlin, aka Trojans14. He was an old poster here from the early days of the website. According to his girlfriend, Michael was hit by a car on Saturday December 12 around 2am and was in a coma in life threatening condition. Sadly, he was taken off of the respirator yesterday and is expected to pass on very soon.

I just wanted to pass on the sad message of a fallen friend. I know that most of you never knew him, but some of the longer standing regulars knew him well.

Wow. I wasn't really able to actually post when he was here that I can remember but I read a lot of his post before I joined the site. This is horrible news.

Holy crap. I am so sorry to hear this. I know you kept in touch with him on another forum. If they post information for us to send a card, please pass it along.

I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers. Its doesnt sound like there is much hope for our former Mod.

Always hate to hear about others losing loved ones around this time of year. I never got the chance to know Trojans, but I hope his family is able to find some peace.

Wow. When I read the title of this thread I got a sinking feeling. First B2TB and now T14. For those of you who weren't around back then, the early days of the forum were the best (like hundreds of posts every day) and T14 was a major contributor. He hasn't posted here for a few years but is still well remembered. That says a lot.

Wow. Before I opened this I was really, really, hoping this was some kind of joke. Terrible news. Absolutely no way I would still be on this forum had he not been around at the beginning. Ugh.

My favorite poster when I first joined.

Hell of a guy. It is a shame what drove him out of here, and a travesty what happened.

My prayers are with him and his family.

What "drove him out of here" may I ask?

Wow, I'm seeing some names I haven't seen in many years, namely The_Slamman.

Good to see you, man.

Some of you older guys will remember me too.

I am here to post out of respect for my friend, Michael.

It is a tragedy for a person to lose their life so young.

His passing has been very hard on me and I still don't want to accept that it is true.

I want to log on and see him say that he's gonna be fine, but I know that's not going to happen.

I miss him, and I wish he could tell me how his Yankees are going to kill my Red Sox.

May God Bless him and his family.....he will be missed.

BTW, I remember boyz2thebowl.

He was here back in 2004 as well, when I first found this site.

I am sorry to hear of his passing as well.

I'm sure they are watching the Cowboys from a much happier place.
