Ok heres the Rumor: A Poster on another football forum said his brother who is a freshman at Tenn. Said that Berry wants to complete his education and take another crack at the SEC title.

I know it sounds like BS but hey it is certainly possible so I posted it here.

I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS IS AT ALL RELIABLE THOUGH.

So can anyone CONFIRM or DENY this?

My uncle's friend's brother who knows Eric Berry's Mom's aunt's nephew's son said that Eric Berry is declaring.

Laughing

Was that serious or...

And either way it's for his own reason. He either takes the money or he comes back for the title and records.

Edit:

Said he's leaning toward leaving.

Like I said I know it looks like BS thats why I was looking for Confirmation of that was true or Something to Deny that was that it was not.

But a funny post none the less

I have some knowledge on this and I've to say this rumor is false. Berry does want his education, but he understands the business part of his decision. I would be blown away if Berry stays.

If Berry stays, I would be stunned.

I really don't think that I can see Monte Kiffin sitting down with Eric Berry and trying to convince him to stay. Kiffin seems to be pretty level-headed and no doubt has a good understanding of how Berry truly grades out as a top-tier NFL prospect. What really would Berry have to gain by returning to Tennessee? He has alot to lose considering his stock right now and how his grade would be affected should he suffer an injury. Monte Kiffin has already mentioned in articles that Berry is supposedly one of the best football players he has ever coached...which is definitely high praise.

In the end, I think both Kiffins understand that Berry should to move to the next level.

He all but said he was leaving early at the CFB award ceremony when Chris Fowler asked him what he would miss most about playing at Tennessee and he rambled on about how he'd miss playing at Neyland Stadium, his teammates etc...

Although nothing here should change your mind. The OP is getting info from a message board, and the link Supersuavesky provided isn't exactly a big name draft site, so I doubt we know exactly how reliable that info is.

Is there a deadline to when underclassmen must declare for the draft?

Get him to fling poo more accurately and make better decisions when flinging it?

Berry returning to school would be one of the worsts moves known to the draft and I'm all about players completing their education. There are SO many reasons for him to go pro and in comparison, virtually no good ones to stay.
