Almost a triple double in his NBA debut and then has 24 points, 3 assists and 3 steals vs the Pistons. On NBA.com you can see some of the amazing plays Jennings made, we had no energy in the 1st half but in the 2nd he just completely took over like he had been doing this for years.
Bucks fans new Jennings had a good chance to be a contender in the award for ROTY, few others really thought so and when Griffin went down many were just handing it to Tyreke.
So anyways, my question for you guys is with Griffin and now recently Tyreke Evans' injury can Jennings make a run for ROTY? He's already gotten off to a great start, the only others that could possibly compete are Curry and Griffin/Evans if they can come back strong after their injuries. _________________

I have watched that replay over and over. And not just for the amazing play, but to listen to Jon McGlocklin's reaction. I love Johnny Mac! _________________

Jennings has been a lot better than I thought early in the season.
I honestly thought that Jennings would come out of the shoot a little slow and explode towards the end of the year. Guess I was wrong, this kid looks like a future star. _________________

You know this is a glowing endorsement for heading to Europe for a year or two to refine your game instead of going to college.
Some may rip me here, but the talent levels in the top 2 or 3 european leagues and most of the coaching is at a level above what you get in college, and they also have a more, team and defensive orientated feel to the way they play.
Jennings played small minutes in Italy, but what he did he did well, he was forced to work and hustle in trainings, he was forced to learn the basics again, defensive stance, movements, and he has come out the otherside far better for it.
Brandon is a far better player now (On a rough guess I would say 18-24 months) ahead of where he would have been as a rookie had he gone to, and dominated college for a year. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Kid sure has been impressive so far. If he continues like this for the whole season, it's going to be tough to beat him.
Also, I agree with khodder about the whole going to Europe thing. If he ends up doing well and winning ROY, this may be bad for college basketball, and could result in more kids going to Europe for a year before being drafted. _________________

Not only is he a great player, he's also bringing excitement back to Milwaukee for basketball. _________________

Jennings was my favorite player in the draft this past year, he was also the player I wanted the Knicks to draft, very bad, it definitely looks like we should have, so far. Jordan Hill. _________________

I'm so glad we have him here in Milwaukee. Hopefully brings more fans to the BC and the Bucks become something to watch again. He has so much potential and it already is starting to show on the court. _________________

Until Griffin comes back from injury, Jennings is hands down the best and most talented rookie playing. And even then, it's probably a toss up. _________________

Personally, I think the ROY will come down to either Jennings, or Jonny Flynn, IMO Flynns scoring and assists will start to go up, the assists definately will when Love gets back. _________________

I don't want to be the party pooper here...but the behind the back is not that tight in the video. Like its obviously cool, but its not thaaaat difficult.
Jennings is playing really well. I love him. I hope he wins ROTY...he has a good shot for sure. _________________ RIP Darrent Williams |

And that's why it was rated 2nd best play of the day, right? _________________
