No mention of any player on the Hawks, except by the Hawks fan? Not cool, Joe Johnson should be on any list. _________________

QFT
however, they are getting it done as a TEAM, so in that aspect, chances at an MVP title are hurt.
Joe Johnson has played exceptionally well though. _________________

Yeah, but it's a fact that MVP comes from one of the best teams in the league. Johnson winning the award would be like Chauncey Billups winning it with the Pistons.
The best player from the best teams get recognized in the MVP voting. If the Hawks keep this up and finish with a #1 or #2 seed in the East; Joe Johnson is hands down MVP. _________________

Steve Nash. Averaging 17.1 points and 11.6 assists as of right now. He's also lead a team many called "mediocre/bad" to a 11-3 record. _________________

not so sure about that, because say Phoenix keeps it up...it could very well go to Nash.
With the talent in the NBA this season, and how everything is playing out, I do not think we will have a clear-cut MVP by season's end. _________________

Nash is too low and Melo is too high IMO. _________________

Thanks for the ups, l3lind Golfer.
Johnson has been tremendous. But it's hard to point to just one aspect of our improved play, considering that Smith has really changed his game and become an all-around force down low. He's only taken one 3 pt. shot, and that was a halfcourt shot at the end of a quarter. |
