Well, JR proved me wrong. He actually pulled off a major move. It still would wouldn't surprise me to see Ray Whitney return, Penner would be ideal but I think he'll fall out of our price range. A #3C could be another place where we could possibly look to fill.

Something like this I could live with:

Tlusty - E. Staal - Whitney
Skinner - J. Staal - Ruutu/Jokinen
Bowman - Jokinen/Ruutu - LaRose
Nodl - Brent - Dwyer

Defensively, I doubt that Allen will return so we need to possibly look at a veteran defenseman to replace him, someone like Sean O'Brien seems like a typical JR target. Another question would be that if Ryan Murphy makes the team, which I think he will.
