I loved Miller's reliability in this game
but Holmes gets it for me. His inconsistency he had in the past looks to be gone. He played at an elite WR level against a top defense.
If he goes 10/130+/1TD against THIS TEAM, imagine what happens against bottom half defenses _________________ Come Follow My Oakland Multi-Sport Franchise! |

| I also say Holmes. He made some very important 1st downs to move the chains. Plus he duplicated his SB43 statistics. |

I had to go with Troy his pick ended a drive when Tennessee was starting to build momentum, plus it was just sick. He was everywhere when everybody else seemed to have their head up their ... It was if they leaned on him.
The penalties were a little weak actually. On the sideline hit he launched himself like 5 yards from the ballcarrier before he actually went out of bounds, yes the hit occurred out of bounds, but it wasnt a dumb play.
The facemask was incidental. and the interference penalty was a disgrace.
Thanks Troy, for keeping us in the game until everybody else woke up and got involved. |

I have to say, I think starks gets a mention, I was impressed with the way he held down KVB, all their pressure came up the middle because our guards are so terrible. _________________

A very tough call. Had Troy Polamalu didn't get injured and played the entire game in the same vein as he started it, he would have gotten my vote.
Ben Roethlisberger tore the Titans toshreds once he found his rhythm but his first INT and the sack which took the team out of field goal range count against him.
Santonio Holmes gets my vote. He caught everything which came his way and his TD was the difference between the teams. _________________

I agree. I said that I think Starks can handle KVB and this is the reaction I got.

Honestly, I'll vote other: Sep.
You guys remember last year? We wouldn't have won this game without Sep. _________________

Have to go with Ben here. Holmes is a close second, but Ben led us down the field three times...for the tie, an almost win before OT, and the actual win in OT.
If Troy wouldnt have got hurt, it probably wouldve been him. He looked amazing last night. _________________

I'm going with Holmes. I expected Ben to have a good game, but it was great to see Holmes FINALLY take that step up to being a true #1 WR. _________________

I have to say I feel sorry for the classy Titans fans like TitanRick and Gibby, there are so many a$$hats representing them on here. _________________

seconded. Yes, Holmes was phenomenal, but few, if any, QBs could have made the throws in crunch time that Ben did. This no huddle never ceases to amaze me, it works EVERY time, and thats because of #7 and his antics IMO. |

I have to go with ben because he carried the team (offense at least) for the most part.
I think Polamalu should get a special mention for single-handedly dominating the first quarter lol.
Also the O line was pretty impressive to me for playing a great Dline like the Titans, The pass protection really picked up in the second half and honestly at least two of the sacks were ben's fault, but i take them for what he does in other plays. The running game just sucked though for one thing running with no FB is a bad habit we have gotten in and on ALOT of those runs with FWP you could see one more block and he would have gotten the 12 yard gain on the edge he used to and you could tell it frustrated him. I think the running game will pick up when Summer gets more experience. |
