I was talking to my dad and he was telling me about the infamous "Snow Bowl" game between the Packers and Broncos in 1984. He said it was Lynn Dickey's best game as a pro.

I'm curious and am trying to find the stats from that game, but can't. Anyone have Dickey's stats?

1984 GB @ Den 14-17

Dickey 27/37 371 yds 1 TD 1 INT

Good yards, but overall doesn't look that impressive

Huh? Funny how time has a tendency to immortalize less than stellar things.

well if the weather was that bad, it does seem more impressive, but still, I'm sure he had better games overall.

He did throw 4 touchdowns and 300 yards when the Packers destroyed the Vikings 45-17.

Best Lynn Dickey game that I remember was the Washington Monday Night game (10/17/83).

23-31 for 387 yards with 3 td and 1 int

I was always under the impression that THIS was the Snow Bowl.

Even so, Dickey was 22-36, 295, 0 TD, 2 INT which obviously isn't terribly impressive. Maybe the best Packers RUSHING game of all time though..

13 for 109 from Eddie Lee Ivory, 9 for 101 from Gerry Ellis and 10 for 23 from Jessie Clark.

I agree with the guy who said the thriller on Monday Night in '83.

I really have no idea what game the Snow Bowl was. That predates me. I just went off the year Dain gave and found a Packers/Broncos game.

It predates me as well, so I'm in the same boat. Every context I heard it in previously had referred to the '85 game against a Steve Young-led Tampa Bay team at Lambeau.

First time I saw it was on the Legend of Lambeau Field DVD.
