Yankees could beat Red Sox in few games if they had good bullpen. Chamberlain was just happened to be next best pitcher after Rivera in last 3 years including this year and Bruney.
I am not sure if Francesa actually criticized Yankees for pulling two starters out before 4 innings but he just acknowledged that Red Sox took advantage of Yankees' problem for being undefeated this season.
Bottom line, despite Yankees are leading MLB in comeback and win games, Red Sox have a knack for coming back and haunting Yankees. It has to be stopped. |

the sweep is behind me. on to the Mets. we cannot dwell on it. we got games to wins and make up the 2 games back deficit.

Mets then Nats, right?
Should be easy to rattle off a few wins. I am expecting 4 out of the next 6 for the Yanks.

we got the Mets, Nats and then Marlins.
Joba vs Livan Hernandez
Pettitte vs TBD
Burnett vs Santana
CC vs Martis
those are the matchups according to ESPN. the next 6 are at home, so thats good.
BoSox have Philly then Fla.

Terrible loss last night, and the thought of getting swept by the Red Sox again, and that we are win less against them this season is terrible. I think we will win two out of three against the Mets and then sweep the Nationals which would put us on a nice streak.

Joba has had terrible control tonight, he and Posada are not getting along at all. The only thing that matters is we are ahead, though.
