Dang another sweep by the red sox, i thought we had this game to but we blew it in the 8th. Hopefully we can rebound against the mets, although i hear the weather isn't suppose to be very good this weekend. _________________

Leave that negativity in the old thread. This is a new and improved NYY thread.
What can I say, the Yanks know how to lose with style. So many issues with last night's game I don't even want to get started. Hopefully the subway series goes much better. _________________ W O R L D C H A M P I O N S '86, '90, '07, '11 |

Are you sure about that? It's been rainy/crappy all week and the weekend is supposed to be beautiful, then going back to rainy/crappy all week long next week.
David Wright is hot, we have to watch out for him. _________________

Burnett vs Santana. What a luck?
Wang may be have a last shot at starting against Nationals. If the result is same then Yankees will switch him back. Wish Wang a luck.
Bruney will be with Trenton and pitch tomorrow.
ZMac has yet to give up more than 2 runs in each of all starts this year.
Garcia is back to on DL... Damn... I hope it is just politic move. |

I heard that Huston Street might be our new Setup Man.But,what would we have to give them to get Street?
I wouldn't mind him. _________________

Yankees' first signed draftee, 11th round pick, Neil Medchill. He is one of steals in the draft. His power bat is there but he is still new to LF as he moved there from 1B. Hopefully, signing him will get his 2 lefty mates to sign with us. Both southpaws can run up to 95ish mph heater.

I hate Mike Francesa. The guy is a complete dope. He's talking about how if we had Joba in the bullpen, we would have won last night. Yet he comes on the last two days to criticize the Yankees cause their starters didn't get out of the third inning. This guy doesn't seem to understand the point of a double standard. That's why Joba needs to start. Because it's not easy to find a starter who can pitch 200 good innings in a season. _________________

Nice to see us sign Medchill. Very good hitter with some power upside. Good pick considering it was the 11th round. _________________

Go post padding! WOOOHOOO!!!!!!!!
Subway series kicks off tonight... no better way to turn a mini-skid around than beating up on Los Mets. Joba could really pick up the team with a dominating performance tonight. Lets hope he is on his A game. _________________ W O R L D C H A M P I O N S '86, '90, '07, '11 |

...catch my drift?
*Basically, I am asking for just a little more substance. "Go Yankees" is exactly worth a post in itself. I'll start up a little dialogue to get things rolling.
So Coltsfan2987, what do you think about the pitching matchup tonight? _________________ W O R L D C H A M P I O N S '86, '90, '07, '11 |
