Look at every team on paper within your division... Washington has better players at every position except QB, DE, and OLB .... Donovan and Eli are clearly better then Camps as of right now but Romo shouldn't even be in consideration.. He chokes out all big games and couldnt even hold a snap to win a big game.. Camps didnt have a T.O caliber WR to throw to and if he did i would think that Camps could put up better numbers..Romo is the most overated player in the NFL ... Clinton Portis is arguably the best back in the division with westbrook a close second if not a lil better.. Portis is a better all around back bc of his pass block skill... FB in the division clearly goes to Sellers with nobody even close... WR group as a whole would be the skins as well... Giants could put up an argument but nicks and barden are unproven as could be said about Thomas and Kelly.. Moss is better then Steve Smith and Desean Jackson both and what has Roy Williams done in dallas?? ARE is better then anyone else the giants got as well as Crayton... Kevin Curtis could put up an argument.. TE comes down to Cooley and Witten whom is a fair argument... O-Line as a whole ON PAPER goes to Washington with the giants a close second.. its just Camps holds the ball to long sometimes and makes them look bad.. Giants got a pretty good line too and Philly has improved but still has ? marks other then Flozell and Leonard Davis dallas line blows... DE has to goto the giants because of the depth they have but it remains to be seen what carter and rak can do with Big AL...Trent cole is good but what else they got?? Dallas got no Dline other then maybe Ratliff.. Igor is on a new team therefore unproven in there system...DT by far is Washington because some as big as Albert there is just no way he is not a force in a game even if he just stands up and they got griffen and golston n AMont, eagles are close with patterson n bunkley but bunk hasnt lived up to potential yet..Fletcher is the best MLB in the division.. Ware is the best OLB in the division... washinton has the deepest proven cb's besides maybe the eagles.. Landry is the best safety in the division and Horton is just as good as sean jones.. hamlin is overrated bc he is a Cowboy and Kenny phillips is unproven.. The giants and eagles were better last year but on paper Washington is the strongest team this year and still gets no respect and is always at the bottom of the division when ranked by analysts... Please share your opinions!!

Hey, whats up man? Next time when you post would you mind putting in some paragraphs and periods.

Besides that though, I think it is just easy for so called experts to predict that the redskins are not going to win the division. I mean when you think about it we are the only team in the division that hasn't won the division this decade. We also have the oldest OL in the division and we were the worst team in the divison last year. I guess they can also say that we didn't do that much to fix the weakest part of our team which is the OL.

Now I don't really agree with the experts, I think the Skins are the best team in the division, but we have to stop thinking that and start proving that we are the best team.

on paper the 2008 superbowl was the dallas cowboys vs the san diego chargers. FAILED!

on paper the 2006 superbowl was suppose to be miami dolphins vs carolina panthers. FAILED

on paper the miami dolphins was expected to win less than 5 games after coming off a 1-15 season...... no need to repeat the "f" word.

in reality THE MEDIA FAILS EVERY SINGLE TIME. they wont admit they are wrong but instead bash on the team and blow every single situation out of the water.

I disagree with a lot of your points but I won't go into detail.

However, people continue to give you guys no respect because you have an unproven QB, unproven coach, just above average (at best) O-line, and on top of that, a somewhat crazed owner who gets bored without making 1 big move each season.

Even with all that, I see a team that could win 10 games. You guys have a lot of talent, a few lucky breaks and you guys could be a playoff team. The Redskins are always one of the harder teams to judge, I see your frustrations but just wait for the season starts so your team can prove everyone wrong. It's better that way. Wink

Good luck this season and we'll be waiting!!

Very well said Bleedin - I have to admit that the Redskins have alot of questions outstanding - the only stability this team has had the past years has been Portis being able to produce consistently and our Defense being top 15 in the NFL every year. As Bleedin said - we have an unproven QB, coach, and aging offensive line, to be honest I'd rather have our opponent underestimate us, it seems like only then do the Redskins play phenomenal football.

On a side note - for the love of god please use paragraphs and periods. It's nearly impossible for me to read your whole thought process when it's lumped into one big paragraph! Shocked

Its a case of 1 bad apple spoiling the bunch.
Or 1 rotten potato spoiling the stew.
Or 1 wrench tossed in to wreck a machine.

And the way the media and many, many others see it. Jason is that wrench tossed in that wrecks it. The flat tire that makes a Ferrari sit on the side of the road.

Well, we have an probably have one of the worst O-line in our division, which kinda makes everything else on Offense suck as well.

You know they were showing the Detroit Lions OL and all the misscommunication going on among it on NFL Network. You know what was sad, it looked exactly like our OL the second half of the year.

My bad about the punctuation and not putting my statement into paragraphs. It was an argument I had with a friend over an email and I was just wondering everyone else take on the topic. Im a Steelers fan myself but I live in Frederick MD so I hear alot about the Skins. When I think about it, I disagree with some of my points too such as your line kinda does suck. I think Dock will be an upgrade though.

Main point though is why does everyone else in your division get so much hype (especially Dallas) and everything the skins do is a bad move? I have heard so many so called "experts" bash the signing of Albert. Maybe they overpaid for him but from a fan standpoint couldnt you really careless how much money someone makes because 1. we cant control it and 2. as long as they produce on the field thats really all that matters. Haynesworth is an upgrade from what your had regardless how much he gets paid. If anyone else would have signed him I would bet most "experts" would praise the move.

Just bothers me when yall get no respect and Dallas gets so much hype for pretty much nothing. Lost their best playmaker, starting CB, starting DE, P.O.S SS, and a LB or two without really upgrading but yall got better in many spots yet still are the worst in the NFC East.

I hear ya.

I think it has a lot to do with history as we have never won the division under Snyder. Also there is a lot of negative opinions out there because of poor moves in the past. Is it entirely fair? No, but there is some base for the argument.

I think Campbell hovering over potential is a pretty big reason why no one takes the Redskins seriously. He needs to show that he belongs as a starting QB.

The Giants had a great off-season but if Campbell plays well I see Phllly and Washington leading the division. The defense will be as good as it has been in the recent past, we are just waiting on the offense to click.

Yeah Camps needs to step his game up. He doesnt seem like he has any leadership skills but what i have heard from Redskins Park is that he has really stepped up and become a vocal leader so far this offseason. All he needs is his weapons to step up and he should be fine if not then bring on Tebow in 2010! haha
