cleveland comes to town next week with a 1-4 away record so far.

time to not get over confident, just play the game the way it's designed and move the ball down the field.

the dawgs' forum is one of the more active ones on our site so expect some guests this week.

I hope the Vikes dont look over this stretch of three easy games, two of which are at the dome. This stretch will determine are playoff fate. We have to win the next three games. Rueben DRoughns should give the run defense a true test because Droughns is a really good back. That will be a great matchup to watch. The defense shouldnt have a problem stopping the Browns passing attack. Vikings are very focused right now but the score will be close because that is our style of play. We will win 24-17, our offense will score two TDs and somebody will make a play on special teams or defense and take one to the house.

I've been looking forward to this game all season. I think this may be the day our offense might get back on track. But then again they did steamroll Miami 22-0 Confused

I wonder if he likes it the same way in bed...ok, that was uncalled for. But I said it lol
We can beat the Browns. We should beat the browns. This game is even more of a must win than last week in my mind since this game is the perfect oppurtunity to make a statement. We could get over .500. Romeo Crennel is a great defesive mind, and our offense is looking like Hugh Heffner without Viagra at this point, but we still have enough to beat them.

Our Fullbacks / H-backs deserve alot of credit for our running game....they have been blocking very well and opening up some big holes. I'd love to see Jimmy K or Richard Owens steam roll Andre Davis. Whoevers running game shows up imo will be the difference in this game....BTW Is Fowler gonna be back for this game?

I just remember the Browns beating the Bears. I just can't imagine the Vikings not returning home with tenacity and ferocity after winning two tough ones on the road. Cleveland would have to shock the Vikings early to get a foothold. I just can't see that happening.

The Vikings have a long and unfortunate habit of playing up (or down) to their level of competition--games they should win are a struggle, games they shouldn't have a prayer in they play hard.

i.e. There's no way in heck we should be able to go into New York and shut down a very hot, up-and-coming Manning-led Giants team that had dismantled some pretty quality teams...

There's just no way the league's resident 'red-headed-stepchild', the Cleveland Steamers, should even keep this game close at the humpty dome, but... I dunno. Basically, it's the "easiest" game left on the schedule and if they drop it, any slim chance at winning the division or squeaking into the playoffs is gone.

The Browns need to bring the momentum from that win last week…and translate it to this week. The end of the year, when you are out of the playoff race…is all about heart. It’s about pride, it’s about your love for the game. I want to see this team showing some heart and winning this consolation game. We need to finish strong and head into the off-season with an upbeat attitude.

I've got a kind of eerie feeling for this game. NickelPete you were absolutely right with what you said. Somehow the Vikes will lose the easy ones. I don't want to be overconfident because the last time I was, was week 1 when we played tampa bay, and we all know how that shaped out Rolling Eyes

That hurts to know that we are "an easy game"... We gave up the least points to the best Offense in the League... the Colts... I bet that wasnt an easy game for them... It surely wasnt an easy game for the Dolphins who nearly owned the Patriots... It wasnt an easy game for the Bears who are 7-3 with a great defense.... So I dont think any game against the Browns is an "easy one"... We are trying to get out of that loop... we dont want to be down in the trenches anymore like San Fran, and Houston...

Obviously...just giving you my approach.

The Browns just need to keep the attitude going, not giving up on the season. The past two years, we got out of the race, and we ended up almost quitting and losing about every game down the stretch. Regadless the fact we aren't going to the playoffs, this team needs to keep showing heart.

no game for the vikes are easy games - and it's the bears that hold out fate as far as playoffs go - we can win out but if the bears don't lose atleast two then we will be sniffing glue - the key for us is to take these games one at a time and play solid non mistake football - our defense has been turning it up and our offense may be on the verge of working some things out - still the browns have a good ground game and can't be taken lightly - this is the kind of team that can come in and do a lot of damage
