I haven't gotten my hands on it yet either. I'd really like to find some for Thanksgiving. Seems like a perfect day for Celebration Ale. |
I surprisingly found it tonight at Walmart of all places. They only had 4 six packs so I bought them all. | It's a seasonal, not a limited release. I'm guessing it shouldn't be hard to find this stuff anywhere you find SN. Much like my local grocery store still has 10+ 12 packs of Summerfest. I'm just not sure if my area has gotten any at all yet. I haven't seen it in the grocery store or any of the liquor stores I had to go to checking for Backwoods Bastard. |
I've been drinking celebration for awhile and I've noticed not too many grocery stores carry it, at least that's the case in my area. Usually the grocerys in my area carry of course Sierra Nevadas pale ale (which is great) and Torpedo, and summerfest, which I've never boughten.
It seems like celebration comes out later and later each year, I remember in 2008 I bought 2 twelve packs in August and saved one for Monday football because we opened up against the Broncos, there wasnt much to celebrate that night. |

mmmmm Torpedo |
Torpedo is the one beer you can pretty much always find in my fridge. For the price, it certainly can't be beat. _________________ Adopt-a-Brown: Jabaal Sheard - Stats:

Keystone doesn't taste like beer. It tastes like foot soaked water. _________________

I think you see too many commercials, and have good beer mixed up with exotic. Real exotic beers are nearly impossible to find, and will cost more than most people are willing to spend when you do ($40-$100+ per bottle).
If they don't sell good beer in the stadium, I pregame in the parking lot. When I lived in CA I usually wouldn't drink because of the price. $9 for a MGD is more than I'm ever willing to spend. Now that I live in CO, I can drink the beer I like for $4-$6, so I'll get a couple. Usually Osker Blues. _________________

Half - 3/4 can of Miller Lite + However much SoCo w/ Lime it takes to fill the can back up = Shock Tart flavored beer that will get you thoroughly sloshed. Plus, it's cheap. That's my best way to take a cheapish domestic and make it "Exotic". _________________
