All you're doing is consuming more water, less alcohol, getting a horrid flavor, and since it's brewed with corn instead of grain, you're begging for a hangover. A 6 pack of really good beer is worth more than a 30 pack of a light beer, and it costs a little less. |
Usually I'll drink two to three 22s and then downgrade to Natty or Busch Light after that. Or I'll take shots.
Has anyone here tasted Ninkasi before? It's big in Oregon since it's brewed in Eugene, but I'm not sure what its distribution is like. If so, what did you think of it? I love their Oatmeal Stout and Total Domination IPA. _________________

Looks like they're just in the Northwest (CA, OR, WA, ID, MT). Looks like they have a few really good ones going by the reviews. Double IPA has the highest rating. _________________

I was pleasantly surprised to find this in my local liquor store. Hands down one of the best Lager's I've ever had. Their Oktoberfest beer is also very good. _________________

| Two excellent beers for this holiday season: new Belgium snow day which is just about perfect for a Christmas day beer and bells expedition stout if ya all like a thick creamy rich stout. |

Had the best stout I've ever had tonight...it's called Lilja's Sasquatch Stout. It's made by Sand Creek Brewing in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. I've never liked a stout as much as I did Sasquatch. So smooth, so tasty. _________________

Anyone ever had Southern Tier's Old Man Winter Ale? Was in a restaurant that had a ton of microbrews and tried it and loved it. Started picking up 6 packs of it and it's my new go to beer. 7.70% ABV.
It's classified as an Old Ale, but it almost tastes like a not too heavy IPA. What is an Old Ale exactly? _________________

Stone Brewery has a few 'special releases out'.
Stone 12.21.12
Vertical Epic 12.12.12
Double Bastard
Ruination 10th Anniversary
Many of which liquor stores won't even put on display. You'll have to ask the manager if they have any ferreted away in the back, and even then you might get the run around if they are holdin them for staff or friends.
Ive been compiling them over the past 2 weeks. I currently have 20 22oz bottles of craft brewed beer in my basement. Hoping to add a few to that number after work today... and then demolish my supply over the next 2 weeks.

I had a few Great White's the other night and I was impressed. An extremely smooth beer that tastes really good cold.
