According to our own Michael Lombardi of the National Football Post, Lombardi reports he is hearing from multiple league sources that the Browns have a first round pick on the table for Quinn, but may be looking for more. Two teams are currently interested in Quinn’s services.

The Browns have reportedly been trying to trade Quinn to Denver for Jay Cutler prior to the Cutler/Bears trade, but Cutler refused to play for Browns coach Eric Mangini.

Quinn, the 22nd overall pick in the 2007 draft, started 3 games last season before ending up on the injured reserve list, during those 3 games he threw for 2 TD's, 2 INT's and 518 yards.

The Browns have a first round pick on the table from two different teams but are looking for more.

1st round or more?

Maybe 1st and a 5th?

Redskins, Jets, Lions, Vikings, Panthers, Buccaneers, Seahawks? One of those teams I'm guessing have some level of interest. I'm guessing he ends up going to either Tampa Bay or the New York Jets.

The Broncos will certainly surface as one of the teams. Quinn is a product of the Belichick system and our coach, Josh McDaniels, is a disciple of Belichick. I seriously doubt that McDaniels really believes Kyle Orton is the answer. It makes too much sense.

I wonder what quarterback Eric Mangini is thinking is going to lead this team into the future? Because I do not see anyone that resembles a franchise quarterback on their roster.

I don't really understand this.

Is DA the future in Cleveland?

Josh McDaniels needs to CYA ASAP before Broncos fans catch on. Brady Quinn might do, although Orton is a good QB. So Denver would send a #1 to Mangini and get another QB? Besides Simms and Orton? The fruits of that Cutler trade are already beginning to ripen. Cool

It wouldn't be the Panthers as we do not have a first round pick.

First of all, it makes no sense to me to give up on Quinn before he's really got a chance. Secondly, he isn't worth a first round pick. He wasn't (IMO) when he came out and has done nothing to change my mind. Everyone loved him at Notre Dame because of his performance in the "Bush Push" game against USC. When in reality he didn't show up against big time teams. I didn't really like any QB's all that much from that draft class.

Something tells me the Vikings trade for Quinn. They'll trade something like their first and Chester Taylor for him.

I'd like to see it be the Jets, but I think it's the Vikings or Tampa.

It's not TB. They just signed Byron Leftwich which was a big mistake waiting to happen. Quinn doesn't fit TB's vertical offense either because his deep ball isn't really accurate. So I'd say the Vikings, Jets, Lions, or even the Redskins have agreed to compensation.

Seems like there are a lot more trades this off season than usual. I guess with the uncapped year next season there's going to be even more trading.

I dont think mixing Chester Taylor and Jamal Lewis would be a good idea.

IIRC, they had some bad blood

They are brothers now because they are teammates.
