I have been arrested for the same thing, this basically doesnt mean anything, just a basic rowdy night, in my case I was just arguing loudly outside a bar. I didnt resist like Whitner did but I could see someone doing it easily, [EDITED BY MODERATOR]

I agree but it sounds like Witner might have had intenions of fighting off the cops. Unfortunitley thats when you get arrested. Laughing

It's never a fair fight against a cop Laughing

Seriously, that is crazy. I imagine they were looking for a little bit more production from the 8th overall pick.
2 INT's is pretty bad, but its better then Michael Huff's 1 INT. They are both pretty big disappointments so far, but Whitner has played much better. At least he isn't of contact.
I rather have Whitner over Huff for sure

Only difference is that Terrell Owens has never been arrested in his life. Outside of football, Owens has been the model of consistency in good citizenry. Obviously it was an attempt at a joke, but it's amazing how Owen's transgressions on the field are transfixed to every bad thing in society outside of his control.

There's a big difference between jail and prison.

Whitner is filling a lawsuit against the police station.

Quote:
While walking out of jail, Whitner told 19 Action News reporter Myrt Price that "nothing really happened" and "I'm innocent." When asked if the tasering was necessary, Whitner said "absolutely not." Whitner also said "I'm filing a lawsuit today against the police department" when he enter the elevator to leave Cleveland City Jail
