Michael Oher:
| Quote: | | With every NFL team represented at the workout, including New Orleans Saints director of college scouting Rick Reiprish and Green Bay Packers director of player personnel John Dorsey, the 6′5″, 306-pounder drew compliments for his “great footwork,” per Brandt. |

We interviewed Lawrence Sidbury at both the Shrine game and the Senior Bowl
We interviewed Raji, Brace, Hood, and Barwin at the Senior Bowl
We interviewed Maybin at the combine
We had a personal workout with Orakpo, and TT was present for his pro day.
TT was in person at Missouri's pro day, where Evander Hood, Chase Coffman, and Jeremy Maclin worked out _________________

Here's a nfl.com blog indicating the potential interested of GB in Orakpo:
http://blogs.nfl.com/category/pro-days/
| Quote: | | The Packers are in the process of converting their defense to a 3-4 and likely are interested in versatile Texas LB Brian Orakpo (6-3 3/8, 262 pounds). |
| Quote: | | Thompson would never tip his hand, but I think that Green Bay would probably be interested in someone like him for their new scheme. I know Thompson was impressed with Orakpo amd expressed surprise at how big his upper body is. |

JS Online
| Quote: | | This is not news. More noteworthy than anything. But both Florida State OLB/DE Everette Brown and Ohio State cornerback Malcolm Jenkins met with the Packers last night. |

| Quote: | Indianapolis -- Just got done talking for a little bit with Georgia Tech DE/OLB Michael Johnson. He said he also met last night with the Packers.
They talked about the team's switch to the 3-4 and about how Johnson would fit into the scheme. They seemed to be fine with his frame -- 6-7, 266 pounds -- and didn't talk much about him adding a little more girth. |

Brandon Williams is a big dark horse for me. Kids got skills. The kid is a true speed rusher only, but would be a solid pickup in rounds 3-4. _________________

James Davis
Dorell Scott
Packers visited Clemson's pro day per scout.com, and heavily scouted Davis. _________________

Waldo, do you remember if our personal interests that were publicly known to us had any major weight on who we drafted last year. IE, did we know TT was looking at Breno or others? _________________

| TT was at Andre Smith's workout and also held a meeting with him the night before. |

I don't think they did, but I've got to believe that they had in fact scouted the guys.
For example, we were heavily linked to Kevin Smith. We took his blocker Josh Sitton
We were heavily linked to Brohm, we took both Brohm and Breno.
A lot of the links are just quick passing things that get fotgotten, a pro day visit or senior bowl interview, combine interview, etc... A lot doesn't get published by rumor mill sources, but with player interviews and whatnot.
Which in fact, I remember now that we interviewed Unger at the senior bowl. _________________

I think at some point we have to realize that TT does not just pick players that the Packers do not scout. Take it like this TT was at the Texas pro day and heavily into Orakpo but we take Melton or Roy Miller instead. Just beacuse we are at Texas pro day does not mean we are just there for that player. _________________

William Moore. All-American in 2007, great athlete, probably top safety, had a bad year and fell. |
