Good thing I don't want to get banned from this site. The amount of cussing that goes with this cannot be contained.

FURIOUS.

I want to see the reactions in here when he signs with the Patriots. Laughing

Jokes aside, this shocked me. He looked good last week. Have to think it was a $ decision.

I was genuinely speechless when I read the news. I don't know how they can do that to him. He looked good yesterday and still had a place on this team. No one on our roster can catch, run and block as well as him and cutting him instead of letting him retire is absolutely disgraceful. If I was someone like the Cowboys or Texans I would be all over this. I'm honestly really disappointed in Rex and Whaley, I understand letting go of players if they are a liability or that it was time to split but Fred Jackson made our team better and he still got cut. Shameful.

what a bone head move by the front office and coaching staff. I was baffled by the signing of the IK dude now this just proves Whaley is a joke. Do not like this move what so ever. He is one of the biggest faces of the franchise and Whaley just pooped on that. Im sure that the Jets will be scooping him up and make us regret it twice a year for cutting him as he had a great career in Chans system. great job Whaley!

I thought I read it wrong when I saw the notification on my phone. Don't even know what to say. Terrible move. Wish Fred the best wherever he ends up.

Always like Fred JAckson as a player, I do hope the Cowboys take a look at him. Do you think it had to with trying to get Dareus sign??

It's very probable. We have a lot of guys we are going to need to sign besides Dareus including Bradham, Gilmore and Glenn.

Scared that within 48 hours we will find out Freddy is signed by the Patriots..

Front office must know something we don't.. Based on what has happened this offseason I hardly think it was a money issue.. They must believe he is not one of the top 3 backs on this team..

Pour one out for Freddy, he was great as a Bill..

Still is.

I think it has to be a money issue, it just has to be. We're going into week one with a dude coming off an operation, one guy who hasn't had a preseason snap and a runningback with a hamstring problem. Cutting the healthy, dependable RB seems odd to me if it isn't for money reasons.

I think its more of a playing time type cut. Freddy doesnt play special teams, Boobie and Karlos both do. Plus from the looks of it, Karlos Williams has surpassed him as the #2 back. I hate that Freddy's gone, but i understand why.
