I am the Offensive Scout.

You should all know that I cannot PM but you can reach me by AIM at Totty169

Also, I would like the HC or OC to PM me a list of possible OFFENSIVE positions we will be looking to in the draft and FA.

I have a list of a few players in mind, but I need to know what the GM wants to look at as far as players in the draft. A list of 10-20 players can be done in a matter of 2-3 days. Shoot me a PM which I CAN receive. And I will post the scouting reports.

List of Available Offensive Players:
Patrick Crayton -WR- Dallas - Trade
Marion Barber -RB- Dallas - Trade
Matt Cassell -QB- New England - Trade - He is a UFA but they are going to tag him
Jabar Gaffney -WR- New England - UFA
Jason Brown -OL- Baltimore - UFA
Chad Johnson -WR- Cincinnatti - Trade
T.J. Houshmandzadeh-WR- Cincinnatti - UFA
Levi Jones -OT- Cincinnatti - Trade
Derek Anderson -QB- Celveland - Trade
Donte' Stallworth -WR- Cleveland - Trade
Kevin Shaffer -OT- Cleveland - Trade
Some positions are of more need then other. The options are there.

More to come.

In my opinion, it would be worth our time to go after Jason Brown. He is a guy who can play OG or C and play both REALLY well.

Also, if you don't want to spend a ton in FA you my be able to get Chad Johnson for a reasonable price. He is getting older and wants out of Cincy anyway.

To the Eagles fan: one of your low first rounders would definetly be enough for me to trade you Michael Bush, but I don't make the decisions around here.

I think there is going to be a big debate about this, but I think we should at least see what Johnson would cost us.

Great to be on board guys, lets get this thing rolling Smile

Key Areas To Adress Via Free Agency/Draft:

* OT (Which one depends how we evaluate Mario Henderson)
* NT (We desperately need a run stuffer next to Tommy Kelly)
* WR (A true number 1 to go with our young recieving core)
* LB (Either a true MLB or SLB depending on where we play Kirk Morrison)
* DE (A proper run stuffing DE opposite Burgess)

Key Areas To Adress Regarding Current Personell

* Nnamdi Asomugah - FA
* Shane Lechler - FA
* Mario Henderson - LT or RT?
* Javon Walker - Huge Contract
* Tommy Kelly - Huge Contract
* Gerrard Warren - Big Contract
* Paul McQuistan - RG or RT?

In my opinion, Bush would cost you one of your 1st rounders. If not, a 2nd and one of your players.

As far as what positions we should bring, anything to bolster the O-Line and/or add to our young WR corps would be great.

In my opinion, we should see what the asking price for Chad Johnson is and see if we can reel him here to wear silver and black.

I also like Michael Clayton and think he can form a connection with fellow alumni JaMarcus Russell and redeem his career and bring out the Clayton of 2004.

My opinion is we solidify the OL in the draft (because there are many good prospects who will be available for us) but do what we can to add another weapon to the WR's for Russell via trade or free agency.

Just my two cents...

-Bush should be traded only if the offer is too good to pass up (1st rd pick or sure starter at a need position).

-I'd put Huff trade value at a 3rd rd pick. Thoughts?

As far as defense is concerned i'd put Burgess, Warren, Sands and Huff on the trade block and see what kind of offers we can get.

Our D needs are in order: NT, DE, SLB and FS.

-NT: There's no one on the roster that can be an effective starter at the position. It will be hard to find one thru FA or trade as there are not many good players at the position. The best way to adress the position is thru the draft with Raji in the 1st or Brace in the 2nd or 3rd.

-DE: Burgess is hurting the run D at LE and i'd be all for trading him. Scott and Edwards offer good pass rushing skills in a rotation, but they're not starting material. Richardson is a 2 down DE. We either need a run stopper at LE or a complete DE at RE and we move Richardson to LE.
Getting a run stopper in FA or trade is the most likely option, IMO.

-SLB: There's no SLB on the team. But there are many FA candidates, we go after one there.

-FS: We have a few guys on the roster that can fill the spot but we definitely could use an upgrade, hopefully with an extra 3rd or 4th.
