Why not Leonard Pope?
And then next year, if decent value, the best TE in the draft as well.
PFW made a good point today about how your WR's will never be worth anything as long as Vick is anathema to passing.
So, get some more Alge's on the roster, run out of two RB backfields and if you do get any WR's, nothing higher than a 5th, and make sure they are track stars who will just pull the CB's out.... and hopefully a S, if you're lucky.
It seems like that is the best thing you can do to actually work to Vick's strengths. |

or we can just let JEnkins, Roddy and Finneran stay as a WR corps for the next 3 years until Vick fully develops as a passer. Vick has been getting it to the receivers a lot more this year. actually watch him play. now Pope would be a good pick based on sheer size and his hands and blockign ability but he would be the 2nd TE on the roster to start out. Dan Reeves isn't coachign here anymore so he won't be the pick. _________________

| Why would you draft Maroney if he fell to you in the 1st? Seems ya'll don't have much need for a RB--??? |

really? why? if so, i'd love to see a Warrick Dunn/Chester Taylor combo next year in Baltimore. that would be amazing. _________________ "The really important kind of freedom involves attention, and awareness, and discipline, and effort, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them, over and over, in myriad petty little unsexy ways, every day.” |

Wow--why? Ya'll gonna draft a Rb in the 1st?
Seems Duckett is pretty good too---just uninformed. I like the Falcons --seems ya'll could spend a 1st on an impact SS-- |

the Falcons may get a RB in thefirst if Maroney is available... the only reason is hat Dunn may be cut because of a 7M cap hit next year with about 1M in bonus so it woudl free up around 6M to use on FA's and draft picks... Maroney is basically a Tomlinson clone... _________________

the word is that Williams is better and will likely go top 10... _________________

Well--it is bittersweet. I sure would like to see him go to a decent team with an established QB to take off the pressure. It would also be nice because hotlanta is fairly close to Memphis---
Any SS ideas? I know Greg Blue can hit--but can he cover??? Isn't he playing FS at UGA now? |

Blue is not a good player for the Falcons SS. he can't cover for his life...
Fits in this draft at SS for the Falcons:
Michael Huff
Laron Landry
Darnell Bing
Pat Watkins
Roman Harper
Darrell Hunter
Jason Allen
