after week 4, the vikes were nothing but slumped.
zygi the wise made his move to get 'em pumped.
he brought in consultants, fagio and rhome,
and expected to see changes under the dome.

culpepper throws INT's, the line can't throw blocks,
the defense stinks, you call these guys jocks?
we need to see improvement, it's gotta get better,
or everyone's gonna burn their favorite purple sweater.

next year it's a new coach, ya gotta think so,
'cuz this year tice is ruining the show.
we gotta somehow make sunshine out of this muck,
or everyone's gonna be callin' each other a dumb joe buck.

Good lil rhyme VD. I'll just leave my sentiments to the Green Day song "When September Ends." Thank the good Lord that month is over. Now it's time to look to forward to battlin through and gaining momentum.

If not, ya better by stock in mylanta or tums . . . lol.

If you believe the current hype,
Then you believe the Bears are ripe,
No I don't mean ripe for the picking,
I mean ripe for a good ol butt-kicking,

Fellow posters, let me tell you,
I've got this wonderful bridge to sell you,
And you can drive your shiny Impalla,
Right on over, straight to Valhalla.

We've all been tricked, swindled, flim-flammed,
They're off on a retreat to celebrate the scam,
New names on jerseys, same old taint,
Same old ship, but with a new coat of paint.

The way I see it, the facts are clear,
Our once mighty ship has been turned on it's ear,
Tice, Cottrell and Loney are flailing,
We've brought in new guys to help with the bailing.

They're all in on it, it's a conspiracy,
I don't want to believe it, so I talk to V.D.,
"You're acting crazy, what's the matter Bermuda?
Do you have a fever, did you eat some bad tuna?"

Just like Mr. Roger's, from back in the day,
Vike Daddy assures me, it'll all be ok.
"It's no big deal, we're just in a slump.
Two quick wins, we're over the hump"

You know he's right, it can be done,
And all this negativity, it's really no fun.
We have new generals, to lead us into battle,
If anyone, it's the Bears, that aught to be rattled.

They can speak of their D and boast of Urlacher,
Yet we have an enforcer, by the name of Kleinsasser,
When that boy blocks, he unleashes some pain,
Brians pants are gonna have a yellow stain.

What about their offense, and rookie running-back?
What they wouldnt do to get his bonus-back.
Then of course there is the great Kyle Orton,
Reading his stats is like it's post-mortem.

All we are looking for, all that we've sought,
Is the rightful return, of the Vikings juggernaught.
Offense and Defense taking it to the other team,
Grrrlachers going to wish it was all a bad dream.

^ damn, man.... that was gooooood.

bermuda and vike daddy, inspired to verse,
have arranged in chicago for the bears' post-game hearse.
just wait 'til next week, the vikes will inflict pain,
we'll roll over their D, and their offense? bah, little gain.

Thanks. You are the Grand Pooba of Poetry. Here is one in your honor.

Sunday Brunch

How 'bout 'dem Bears?
Does anyone even care?
I have a suggestion,
Try them medium rare.

You can't miss with Bear Kabobs,
in a sweet Teriyaki,
There's Bear szechuan style,
or Bear teppanyaki.

There's minced Bear nostrils,
with soy lime dressing,
Or deep fried Bear nuts,
With beer, quite refreshing.

Try the succulent Bear nipples,
sauteed in wine,
or poached Bear brains,
with just a hint of thyme.

Bear tongue tacos,
with lettuce and cheese,
Or candied Bear anus,
Mmmmm....more please!

Come on down Sunday,
To Bermuda's Bear Buffet.
Cooking up fresh Bear,
In every conceivable way!*

*menu suggestions are welcome.
