| I am all for the niners choosing a QB in the draft but some part of me hopes that the niners will give Pickett a chance. He's has good build, arm strength, a bit of mobility. Problem is in college he threw too many INTs. But I actually like him better then Rattay and Dorsey. |

| dont forget were talkin about a 7th round pick there is a reason why this guy was not drafted that high, not saying he's not capable of being a starter but just last year everyone was saying the same thing about Dorsey and look what everyone thinks of him now. |

| THey say Pickett was a possible first or second round pick during his senior year and then a shoulder injury screwed him up. Pickett did okay during the Preseason though it is preseason. |

Tom Brady = 6th round
That doesn't mean I think Picket is the future of the 9ers. But, i'll say one thing he's gotta be better than Dorsey. |

| "reg" is correct, Brady was taken in the 6th round, not the 4th. Too bad no one else saw his potential... |

Tom Brady = 6th Round *3 Super Bowl Rings, 2 Super Bowl MVPs
Kurt Warner = UDFA *1 Super Bowl Ring, 2 NFL MVPs
I say they should give the guy a chance next season, and if it doesn't work out, they'll probably have the #1 pick again and can get Leinart. |

| I do agree that we should give Pickett a chance to play. Brady took over for Bledsoe during his second season. If that is the case, what position/player should the 49ers use for their #1 pick? |
