| Mike Rumph is horribly out of position especially with the new rules implimentad so the way i see it is take a corner with the #2 pick like a Marlin Jackson, Carlos Rogers, or Corey Webster because one of them will fall and move Rumph to free safety opposite Parrish and there you go a solid secondary especially with plummer back and Shawntae Spencer and dwaine Carpenter more experienced second year guys back. plus maybe Rumph can be the type of impact player Ed Reed was for Nolan in Baltimore, maybe thats wishfull thinking but he does have similar size and ability. but with the 1st pick in round 2 thats like almost having 2 number ones. |

| true but i think Carlos Rogers and Marlin Jackson will be gone, the only good ones left will probably be Justin Miller, Antonio Perkins, Mcfaddin, Or Webster, the best probably being Justin Miller. |

| I hear that everywhere move Rumph to FS. Why, Rumph looking good at the corner spot before he broke his arm. I say draft Shazor in the second he should still be there |

| He did look like he made some strides but Rumph seems more like a playmaker than a cover corner because with the new rule he will get beat deep especially when he has to go up against Torry Holt or Koren Robinson and guys in our division. |

he'd fit there if he added some weight cause he is already a good tackler.
although if you look at all the good teams theyall have good saftey's, so the niners could look in freeagency or draft thomas Davis from georgia he is like roy williams but faster. |

Draft Jamaal Brimmer from UNLV in the 2nd or 3rd round depending on his workouts. 4 years of production can't be overlooked. Rumph is so valuable at CB, particularly in terms of blitzing and run support. I think Mike Nolan will press a lot more, and that's where Rumph could shine. _________________

Yes, I like Rumph potential at CB! He improved dramaticall from his rookie season! He's exciting to watch, unlike Plummer..... |

Meaning, you want Ronnie Lott Part 2 lol. Darnell Bing is an amazing athlete, who will show everyone why he could have come out for the draft this season, but chose not to. He will be a Junior this upcoming season, and many people have said that Darnell Bing is better now then Ronnie Lott was back at USC. Should be fun to watch him. _________________

A lot more of a need than a QB, that's for sure. Top priority is offensive line, but I think safety is right behind that. _________________
