You're right it takes preferential treatment, crappy calls, and getting away with all sorts of crap. At least players like Wilt and LJ worked for their accolades. _________________

I wonder if Lebron never wins a title in his career if he will still be considered "The King". _________________

Russell was WORSE this year than I thought possible.
He'll have the whole off-season to get his act together. If he doesn't perform in pre-season, then I want him CUT before any more money is WASTED... |

Was he ever really that great? I mean besides the arm and the measurables. I'm starting to think it was the players around him that made him look good. Guys like Bowe, Doucet, Doucet, Davis(who became BUSTer in the NFL), Hester and that O-Line. Never really knows as accurate to begin with.
He was one of those stock guys who rose to the top because of the Sugar Bowl game against Notre Dame.
We'll never get to see what he can really do, unless he decides to grow up. He'll be completely out of excuses if he doesn't shape up next season.
It all starts with coming in shape to camp. I'm sure those of you who like to say "Its Early" should be tired of it by now. _________________

Ooops
Well I'll just stick with the last part. He stopped caring, got comfortable because he knew he was the starter. He's got one last chance and he better prove us wrong, because if it was any other owner, he'd be long gone.
Playcalling was good and bad at times, but he couldn't handle the simple stuff. We saw what Bruce did and know how hard he worked when he arrived and how he's already working towards next season.
Russell needs eat, sleep and breathe football. _________________
