Didn't see a GD thread up so I figured I'd start it, if nobody hadn't started one yet.

Tough game. With all the team has been through this week, and with how the team performed last week, I don't think there is anyway we can possibly win against a top 3 NFC team like Carolina.

There are reports that Russell, McFadden will both sit the game out.

That doesn't help. Maybe we get to see if Walter can do any better behind our line, but I doubt it.

Here is a game preview from NFL.com - http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/preview?game_id=29667&displayPage=tab_preview&season=2008&week=REG10&override=true

I'm not looking looking for a win in this one. What I want to see is how the team rebounds after possibly the worst loss in Raider history. Hopefully, with the releasing of Hall, it puts an extra pep in the players' step and they start playing up to their contracts.

According to the scrolling bar on NFL Network, Andrew Walter will start. I feel sorry for him already. Julius Peppers is going to maul whichever poor OT we have going against him.

I really like Walter. He is a good backup QB IMO. Hopefully he plays okay today and isn't on the ground as much. Laughing

We need to hand the rock to Michael Bush. I really think that is our only chance of sinning.

Most of the sacks came from bad protection. The rest were from Jamarcus holding onto the ball too long like in Baltimore. If Walter can get the ball out right away to his receivers, we MIGHT have a chance. Along with Running Bush hard today along with some play action.

Oh yea and on defense stop Smith, Williams/Stewart Laughing

I know this is highly unlikely but what if Walter had a great game and the raiders won?

I guess we could then waive Russell and save a bunch of millions, right? Smile
