Week 1: Jets vs. Chiefs

Well .. plenty to say. I think this is a game the Chiefs should win. I'll be there screaming in support ! Home opener ! We just really really must win this game and there are no excuses if we don't !

I think it could be a tough game. The Jets are extremely well coached and will NOT beat themselves for us. I hope to see the Chiefs shut down Martin and get the Jets behind early .. then blitz and pressure Pennington in the latter portions of the game as we turn to our power running game. I want the Chiefs to have TimeOfPossession be largely in their favor when the game is done. If it isn't I'd expect the Jets have run the ball well and the game will be much tighter. I really think the Chiefs need to kinda jump out on the Jets or the game will just stay too tight. And the Chiefs won't have driven the Jets away from the run game. I want them to abandon it because we are stretching the score and time has become a concern very early into the 2nd half !

I want to see all the praise Vermiel has been giving Ryan Sims this pre-season show itself in the game. Not with sacks specifically but just be disruptive. And I want to see the speed of the defense making sideline to sideline plays. I'm excited !

i think that the jets give it a goi but the Chiefs come out victorious

the jets will expose the chiefs defense that in my opinion has not yet jeld together. They are not just going to put all these players together and expect them to play well, the defense needs to have chemistry and i just dont think they get that by the first game. there offense should be good,but so is the jets defense. So i see the jets pulling out this one 24-17

yeah same here i think that they could slow there offense quite largly but not shut it down
