As you may or may not have heard, the Eagles recently claimed Lamar Gordon off waivers the other day. As I've learned over the years, stats do not tell the whole story so I would like an honest assesment from the fans of the team he played his first two years with so we Eagle fans can get a better idea what kind of back he is.

He did a fine job backing up Marshall Faulk for a few years in St. Louis before being traded to Miami for a 3rd round pick. He's got some skill, but he wasn't able to show it last year in the Dolphins' horrible offense.

This is a good pick up for the Eagles and they didn't overpay for him like the Dolphins did.

I agree...this could potentially be a very nice pick up for the Eagles...he is a strong runner and if he's healthy should be able to show it behind that good offensive line.
