None other than our undrafted talent Tony Romo. Come on this is like what happened to Hassleback(Seattle) he didnt really start until he was 27. Romo is only 25 . I wouldnt be suprised to see him start. He shows poise in the pocket and you know Bill and Zim(our next coach) wants to spend a 1st on defense and WR the next 2 years. By then Bledsoe will be gone and our 27 yr old undrafted talent will progress and be our starter. You guys watch and see you heard it here first. _________________

Yes because none of you talk about Romo being the starter. Everybody thought Henson was our future. Romo's outperforming him, why cant he be a starter. Its about time this guy gets recognition. _________________

First, we don't need another speculation about the QB post, but since it is here, I will comment.
Second, Romo is not, has never been, nor will he ever be in my opinion, more than a backup. I look at him the same way I used to look at Jason Garrett. He is a very smart QB with a good pocket presence who can come off the bench in case of injury and not lose a game for you. He may be able to win a game or two in extended relief appearance, but he is not someone you want starting a full season. He just is not good enough. Look at his college experience and his Pro career thus far, he is not even close to challenging Bledsoe. Heck, he had to beat out Henson just to be the backup, and Henson stunk it up this preseason. I do not think Romo is good enough to place the franchises future in. Meredith, Staubach, White, Aikman, Romo? I don't think so.
Third, arkcowboy, what part of Arkansas you from? I live in Hot Springs. _________________

I am not sure about Tony Romo. I think he will be a good career backup, nothing more. The Cowboys need to quit panzy@$$in around with these project quarterbacks and draft one within the first two rounds. _________________

I'm locking this one since we've had at least 5 similar topics the past 5 days and people are just regurgitating the same arguments. _________________
