This is a thread for our Forum. I will most likely win so I do not blame anyone for not joining but those brave enough to try feel free.

THE RULES
1. Each week you will select one team you believe will win. If you are right, you go on. If you are wrong, you go home. No spreads, just a straight up win.

2. Each week you can only select a team you have not selected previously. This means, in Week One, you have 32 teams to choose from. In Week Two (assuming your team won in the first week), you will have only 31 teams to choose from. Week Three? 30 teams. So on and so forth.

3. FOR IT TO BE AN ELIGIBLE PICK, YOU MUST POST IN THIS THREAD 5 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE OFFICIAL KICKOFF TIME. Last year, I accepted PMs. This year, only posts here will count.

4. You may change your pick as many times as you would like prior to the start of the game of the team you last picked. For instance, if the Cowboys play on Monday night and then you hear something you don't like and it is 2 PM on Sunday, you can select any team that starts at 4 o'clock Eastern, Sunday night, or whomever the Cowboys are playing on MNF. You cannot, however, select a team that has already kicked off.

NOTE: If you want to change your pick, please post another new pick (also flag it with something like "I'm changing my pick to ..."). Do NOT edit your original message. Edited messages will be ignored. Don't make me have to go hard-core and kick people out for editing messages.

5. To enter the contest, you must enter a pick this week. Sorry, no late entries will be accepted. That means you have until 10:10 PM EDT Monday Night to make a pick to join up.

6. Scoring: Real simple. Be the last one without any of your picks losing.

TIEBREAKER: In the event of a tie (i.e. the season ends and we have more than one person still standing, or all of the remaining contestants lose on the same weekend), the winner will be chosen as such:
1. The person whose combined picks have the worst combined W/L record.
2. The person whose combined picks have the lowest combined points for.
3. The person whose combined picks have the highest combined points allowed.
4. Coin toss.

Why? Call it incentive to pick teams that might not be as good as the best in the league. Last year, one of our contestants picked the NY Jets in one of four weeks they won. That really helped his tiebreaker score (of course, he didn't win because of a later loss, but it definitely put him in the lead).

I came in second in this last year, me and ganggreen had a hell of a time at this. It's always tough at the start of the season but I'll take Denver for this week. Hope it's a good choice.
