LOL, hey BB7 lets contact Jerry Rice to come play 6th receiver for us. _________________

Were paying 7 million for a backup in Starks, so yeah I'd take Anderson for 3 million and we'd still have 4 million left over. _________________

Yes, and he's 33 and still in the NFL. Rice is nearly 50? And not in the NFL...Nice to see you know what the topic is. _________________

From the Bengals forum, Cuts thread:

Thorton should have been on the chopping block before Anderson. Anderson played well above any level Andrews played at the RT position this preseason. The guy was set to make how much, again? 3M, I believe I'd read somewhere? That's high for a veteran tackle that's outperforming your franchise player...I don't think so. He might have been aged, but even at that "old" age of 33, he was outperforming his competition. A player that loyal to the franchise, and still plays at a high level.....yet Chris Henry is about to make the team. Way to go Brown, better find a GM with all this $$$ we're saving. |

They don't seem to pleased. Can't say I'm surprised. I expect him to try and sign with an AFC North or NFC East team to try and payback the Bengals. _________________

I guy who's actually a OT won't make a difference over a guy who's and OG playing OT. Well I disagree personally, but we will see. _________________

When did this turn into the "Let's take petty, personal digs at each other thread"?
Willie Anderson is a good RT. The Steelers won't look at him, and cannot afford him, but I wish they would and could. |
