Actually, I'm not even mad about the dropped pass. That was a bad throw. Sure if Welker was the size of your average receiver he'd have caught it, but that one still has to go on Brady, if you ask me.

Now, I know I'm in the minority here, but I just feel he's a bit overrated. And I really hate that. I would imagine he's a great teammate, and obviously has normally quite reliable hands, but I feel Brady just makes all receivers look much better. We've seen it a lot. Branch left for a bit there, looked...underwhelming, maybe? He probably then realized he was playing for the Seahawks, and decided to come back, because, you know, it's Seattle. Gaffney, Stallworth, Givens, Caldwell that one time, and hell, even Troy Brown. And I love that guy. Moss too, who was obviously one of the greats, they put up record breaking numbers together. I realize this is a simple and silly argument, but there's a lot of examples which seem to indicate it's true.

I like a lot of what McGinest said earlier about Welker. I think I would actually would bet on Welker to take that criticism and stick a giant finger to McGinest this year with some good play. But still. He does well for the Patriots, and here and there he did the same for the Dolphins, but overall...meh. Laughing
