Woo, Longhorn thread!

This season I expect another 10 wins, but they miss out on a BCS game once again. If they somehow get past OU in the shootout, then that could give them some momentum down the stretch. They have to take care of business against TT and ATM this year and not play down to the competition. Hopefully one of the backs steps up and has a great year.

Why? Its ok to change your pro sports team college is far more serious I think you should get lashes for switching teams in college.

Lets see, you switched over from a OU fan to a Texas fan today, and are already referring to the 'Horns as 'we'? That doesn't make sense.

And since when does where you're going to school matter? I'm not going to Nebraska, does that mean that I should root for a different team? Hell no. But, answer me a couple questions that we can base thoughts off of:

Were you only an OU fan because of plans to go to school there?

How long have you actually followed college sports?

OK, thanks for the quick answer. That's 8 years, and you're just going to quit rooting for a team because you're not going to school there? I'm sorry, but that will cause nobody to consider you as a true fan. Especially since you're swapping between teams in a rivalry that just last year caused one fan to nearly castrate another.

This is worse than Quinney's tri-switch.

I agree with pretty much everyone else. You can't just change your colors because of grades. I hate when people jump ship, especially to their most bitter rivals. Ugh.

But whatever... Confused

Anyway, I see Texas as a 9-4 or 10-3 team this year.

To answer the original posters questions, I'm hoping for another 10-win season topped off with a bowl win. It'd be nice if we could make a BCS bowl, but not so sure that'll happen unless Colt steps his game up.

That said, so long as we beat Oklahoma I'll consider it a successful season.
