Mel Kiper's mock has Pac Man Jones to us with the 6th pick. Has D Johnson sliding to 12th overall. Where the hell did Pac Man Jones come from? His mother I know, but what is Mel smokin and not sharing? Any thoughts on that selection?
Mel's top 15 of most recent Mock as follows:
1. San Fran: Alex Smith, QB, Utah
2. Miami: Cedric Benson, RB, Texas
3. Clev: Aaron Rogers, QB, California
4. Chic: Ronnie Brown , RB, Auburn
5. TB: Cadillac Williams, RB, Auburn
6. TITANS: Pac Man Jones, CB, West Virginia
7. Oak: Dan Cody, DE, Okla.
8. AZ: Travis Johnson, DT, Florida State
9. Braylon Edwards, WR, Michigan
10. Heath Miller, TE, Virg
11. Dall: Shawn Merriman, DE, Maryland
12. San Diego: Derrick Johnson (no way he slides to 12th)
13. Houston: Mike Williams, WR, USC
14.Jamal Brown, OT, Oklahoma
15. KC: Antrelle Rolle, CB, Miami |

| I'd have to draft DJ or Pac Man. I think Woolfolk needs to start at CB this year, we drafted him in the 1st, we need to find out if he's worth it. So I think DJ has more of a chance to start right away if they move Sirmon to the midle (which makes good sense to me). |

Mel Kiper is the worst mock draft person that there is. He's good with evaluating talent but sucks with mock drafts.
Pac-man is ok, you can get him in the late 1st round theres no-way in heck hes a top 10 or 15.
I advise you not to look at Mel's mock. |

i dought that we pick pacman at six and let dj slide, but i understand why mel kiper has pac going so high. I don't know if you watched this kid play, but hes a beast, he reminds me of sean taylor and ed reed(how they're always around the ball). He is a ball hawk, with electrifying speed and great football instincts.
Athleticaly derrick johnson is a beast to and he also has great instincts, but he is not a ball hawk, he is very close to it though.... |

But Jones also takes way too many risks and gives up easy touchdowns at times. He couldn't even stop Thorpe from FSU and he isn't really that good. |

| Pac-man is overrated. Justin Miller and Cory Webster are better than him. |

| Ya, I think Woolfolk definately needs to step up this year and play. Obviously at #6 we don't want a bust. Kind of a weird draft this year as to the fact that there aren't that many players "coveted" by teams. Well, that we are assuming anyways. What would be awesome is for Dallas to jump up and trade those two #1's or San Diego to trade their two #1's. Pipe dream I know. But, you never know. One guy many mocks have TN taking is Alex Barron. I can't see Reese reaching for him at #6 overall, that would very much shock me if they took Barron. |

ill will give a mock draft the scenario is if we trade rolle for a 1st lets say 20 just like titansgrief said and we trade mason like ive been saying for a 2nd and 4th and trade shulters for 3rd and cut miller berlin hill CARTER, thomas, matthews, holcomb,Johnson,Mier,Calmus,Dyson,Nickey,Nedney
ok here it is.
rd1.
pick 6-Derrick Jonhson(and move Sirmon to mlb)
pick20-Justin Miller let woolfolk step up w/ these players starting and let beckham be a nickle you dont need great cb's to have a great D you need great lb's look at the patriots D when they're hurt
rd.2
pick1(from mason trade)-Michael Munoz- he will take miller's spot this year and if hopkins doesnt resture he will take hopkins spot and let bell move to RT
pick6- either Odell thrurman or best CB available
rd.3
pick1(shulters)-Wess Britt(future starting OT for either miller or hopkins)
pick6-Roddy White- a huge target sort of like calico led ncaa in Td's this year and top 5 in every recieving catagory but went to small school UAB
rd.4
pick1(mason trade)-Mike Nugent K(great power and accuracy and a kickoff specialist)
pick6-Devin hester/Steve Breaston/roscoe Parrish- they are all great kick and punt returner all are recievers but hester had switched from cb and wr
rd.5
pick6-Chad Owens
rd.6
pick6-Darren Sprolles Rb adds depth a speedy Rb that gets it done on 3rd
rd.7
pick6.
i think we go QB here either stefan Lefors from Louisville or tyhe speedy Matt Jones from Arkansas
i know we over the cap but all of those trades and cuts but i was following a site of value and all the picks were at there valued round, but if this happeneds and the ndl gives you a seperate cap for your rookies drafted or something like that we will have a great team for many years. but everyone from a superbowl team will be gone besides Mcnair yall leave some feedback and tell me what you think. |

I like some of your thoughts. I love the Owens pick as thats the one that I've been pushing for for awhile now. But Mason will not get us a high second or a 4th rounder. We'd be luck to get a low 2nd, we might have to settle for a 3rd. If we do end up getting DJ, there is no reason to go LB again anytime in the 1st day or even early on the 2nd day. But I think DJ will be snatched up by Cleveland so thats a moot point. I also don't like Munoz high in the second as we might be able to get him in the 3rd. Question is do we even want him with his inury history. Britt will not fall to the 3rd either. Oh yeah, and there is no way Schulters will get us a 3rd.
Its a good overall thought process though. |

| YEAH I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT THE thurman pick but we need a mlb so i just suggested it but we could a really good draft if we were trade some of the main players and for salary reasons and not just cut them. |

How come no one knows this. Devin Hester is not in the draft. I've corrected like 11 people about this. He is a sophomore and did not enter the draft. Breaston isn't either. He is junior and he didn't enter the draft either. GAH! |

The Titans cannot get a 3rd round for Schulters . The only option they have with Schulters is Cut after 6/1 to save 2.3Million but leaves around 1million in dead money but cannot happen since they need the money before March 2nd to get under the Cap . So the only option will be he takes a straight cut and bring his Base salary down to the Vet Min instead of his 2Million +++++ base salary. He will not be traded same with Miller they have no trade value at all . |

| Just to add to the Draft picks you have listed we will be getting a 3rd or a 4th for the loss of Jevon kearse and a 5th rounder for the loss a Robaire Smith |
